CoverageKit
Read full descriptionHide full description
CoverageKit helps you understand and optimize your home WiFi network by tracking which access point is actually serving your device as you move around. DISCOVER THE PROBLEM Ever notice your WiFi drops or slows down in certain spots? Often it's because multiple access points (your router and mesh nodes) are competing for your device, causing constant handoffs. WiFi Rangefinder makes this invisible problem visible. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan your network to discover all routers and mesh nodes 2. Mark your access points so the app knows what to track 3. Walk through your house while the app monitors which AP is serving you 4. View a coverage map showing exactly where each AP takes over KEY FEATURES - Network Scanner Automatically discover all devices on your local network. Identify routers, mesh nodes, and extenders. - Real-Time AP Tracking See which access point is currently serving your device, with estimated signal strength and latency. - Coverage Mapping Walk through your home and generate a map showing which AP covers which areas. - Handoff Detection Get notified every time your device switches between access points. Find the spots where APs are fighting. - Competing AP Analysis Identify which access points have overlapping coverage and are causing connection issues. - Signal Strength Estimation Monitor your connection quality with latency-based signal estimates and dBm readings. - Scan History Save and review past scans to track improvements after adjusting your network. PERFECT FOR - Mesh network users (Eero, Orbi, Velop, Google WiFi, etc.) - Anyone with WiFi dead zones - Network enthusiasts who want to optimize coverage - Troubleshooting slow or dropping connections PRIVACY FIRST All data stays on your device. No accounts, no servers, no tracking. Delete the app and everything goes with it. NOTE: Signal strength readings are estimates based on network latency, not actual radio measurements (iOS doesn't expose RSSI to apps). Results provide helpful guidance for optimizing your network. Requires location permission to map coverage as you walk.
AR Wifi Analyzer

Find the Wi-Fi dead spots in your home, and see exactly where they are. AR Wifi Analyzer uses the LiDAR scanner on your iPhone or iPad to build a 3D model of your home while it measures your Wi-Fi everywhere you walk. The result is painted straight onto the walls and floor: green where the connection is strong, yellow where it's fair and red where it struggles. SCAN IN 3D Walk slowly through your home. The LiDAR scanner builds the rooms around you, and every scan is cleaned up into a smooth, tidy model when you save it. LIVE COVERAGE Coverage is measured as you move and appears on the real walls in real time, so you see a weak spot the moment you walk into it. FLOOR PLAN Look down on your whole floor, with the walls drawn in, and spot the weak rooms at a glance. 3D VIEW Rotate and zoom around your saved home from any angle. WALK IT AGAIN Return to a saved scan in AR. It lines back up with your rooms, so the saved coverage appears on the real walls again. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking, and nothing is ever uploaded. GREAT FOR ⢠Finding the best place for your router ⢠Deciding where a mesh node or extender will actually help ⢠Checking the home office before an important video call ⢠Scanning again after a change to see if it made a difference HOW IT MEASURES iOS doesn't let apps read raw Wi-Fi signal strength. Instead, AR Wifi Analyzer measures what you actually notice: how quickly and how reliably your router answers from each spot. Slow or missing answers are what make video calls stutter and pages hang. REQUIREMENTS Requires an iPhone or iPad with a LiDAR scanner (iPhone 12 Pro or later Pro models, iPad Pro 2020 or later) running iOS 26 or later.
