UNDER THE SCRIBE'S SEAL. Thoth was built with one rule: your data stays yours. It's a native iPhone and iPad transcription and meeting assistant that processes audio locally. No cloud uploads, no hidden servers, no tracking. Optional cloud AI features use your own API keys and go directly to your chosen provider. We never see a byte. ON-DEVICE ANONYMIZATION Before a transcript reaches a cloud AI provider, Thoth detects names, places, emails, and phone numbers on your device and swaps them for tokens, restored locally after the response returns. You review what gets sent. Free for everyone. 100% OFFLINE TRANSCRIPTION Your private conversations don't belong on someone else's server. • Record from the microphone and transcribe entirely on device. • 99 languages with auto-detection. • Live Transcript: watch words appear in real time as you speak. • Neural speaker identification: tell apart up to 8 speakers, color-coded with our Egyptian-inspired palette. Fully on device. • Custom Vocabulary: add technical terms, acronyms, or names and the model favors them. • Re-transcribe any recording with a different model anytime. Free users can record up to 30 minutes per session. AI ASSISTANT Clean up, summarize, translate, and ask questions. Locally or via your own cloud provider. • Structured Summaries: overview, key points, decisions, participants, and action items with owners. • Smart Edit: Thoth flags the words it was unsure about so you can fix them in place, with an optional AI proofread. • Suggested Reminders: turn the action items from a meeting into real reminders you approve, in your Reminders app. • Improve Transcript and Improve Diarization with an AI pass. • AI Chat: ask anything about a recording and get answers grounded in the transcript, locally or with your own key. • One-click translation. Free users get 10 AI actions per month. Pro users get unlimited. VERIFIABLE PRIVATE AI For cloud AI, you can choose a privacy-first provider. One option runs models inside secure hardware enclaves with provable zero data retention, and Thoth verifies the attestation inside the app before each session. RUN AI ON DEVICE No internet, no API key, no problem. Use Apple Intelligence or download an on-device model sized to your iPhone. Summaries and answers never leave your hand. Counts toward your monthly AI limit (10 for Free, unlimited for Pro). BRING YOUR OWN KEY Plug in your own API keys for supported providers. Pick the exact model you want; the list updates live. Keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and sync to your other devices through iCloud Keychain. Requests go directly from your device to your provider. Cloud AI features are not available in all regions. BUILT FOR iPHONE & iPAD Control your recording from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Per-recording notes. Search within any transcript. Export to PDF, Markdown, plain text, RTF, JSON, or free SRT and VTT subtitles, all generated locally. Send recordings to the Mac app over AirDrop or local WiFi, and your whole library syncs privately across your devices with iCloud. Airgapped by design. Homemade and private.
