The Gankogui app offers users a library of Ghanaian timeline rhythms with authentic sound samples and flexible-tempo playback. Learners and practitioners of West African drum and dance music can use Gankogui as a powerful practice tool. Musicians and researchers can utilize the broad library of timeline rhythms to expand their knowledge of West African rhythm. Instrumentalists from all backgrounds can use Gankogui as a more exciting, advanced, and musically pleasing alternative to a standard metronome.
