Your check engine light just came on. What does it mean, and how urgent is it? Plug in a compatible OBD2 adapter and Cavox reads your car's fault codes and gives you a verdict in plain language, right in your car. Most code readers show "P0301" and leave you searching the internet. Cavox turns the reading into words you understand, and with Premium an AI explanation of every code: what it may mean, what to check first, when to stop driving and what a repair may cost. WHAT YOU GET • A plain-language verdict such as "Worth a look" or "There's a problem", and how many points need your attention. • AI explanations of each fault code: likely causes, what to check first and when to stop. (Premium) • Clear fault codes after a repair and re-check them. Clearing a code does not fix the fault: it may come back, and some cars refuse the clear. (Premium) • Live data such as RPM, coolant temperature, battery voltage and engine load. With Premium, AI can flag unusual sensor patterns even when there are no codes. • A history of scans for each car, so you can see what changed. (Premium) • A garage for several cars, each with its own history. • Your VIN read from the adapter or scanned from your car documents with the camera. • Demo mode with a sample car, before you even have an adapter. WHAT YOU NEED An ELM327-type OBD2 adapter with Bluetooth LE or Wi-Fi, bought separately. Bluetooth Classic adapters do not work with iPhone. What you can read depends on your car and your adapter. Cavox runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later. FREE AND PREMIUM Free: connecting your adapter, the full check, the verdict, how many points need attention, the first two live readings, one car in the garage and demo mode. The number of free AI verdicts is limited. Premium: exact codes with AI explanations, clearing and re-checking codes, all live readings with the AI sensor check, scan history and more than one car. Eligible new subscribers may get a 3-day free trial on the weekly plan. Plans, prices and terms are shown in the app before you buy; subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your iPhone settings. APP LANGUAGE The app is available in English, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil), German, Spanish, French, Arabic and Ukrainian, and fault-code explanations come in your app language. Use Cavox with the vehicle stopped, never while driving. Cavox is a diagnostic aid, not a substitute for a mechanic, and it does not guarantee that your vehicle is safe.
