Your practice partner for structured guitar training. Repétude organizes your exercises into routines and remembers your tempo. With metronome and backing tracks. Stop wasting time planning. What BPM was I at? What should I practice today? Repétude knows the answers. Set up your routines once — then just hit play and practice. Warm-ups, technique, new pieces — everything in one place, so you can focus on playing. ROUTINES Combine your exercises into routines with a set order and built-in breaks. The transition between exercises happens automatically. TEMPO TRACKING The metronome remembers the BPM for each exercise. Set a goal and track your progress over weeks and months. METRONOME Low-latency metronome with accent patterns, subdivisions and different sounds. Built right into every exercise. BACKING TRACKS & TABS Add backing tracks to your exercises and practice with accompaniment. Attach PDFs with tabs or sheet music — visible right during practice. Exercise name and BPM are automatically extracted from the PDF. PROGRESS & STATISTICS Track your progress with detailed statistics and insights. Repétude monitors your training — from individual exercises to the big picture. Streaks keep you motivated to practice every day. AND MORE • Recorder — record yourself practicing and listen back instantly • Tuner — so you always start in tune • Variations — automatically rotate through e.g. finger combinations, strings or scale positions • Categories — organize exercises by technique, topic or your current online course • Daily reminder — so practicing becomes a habit • iCloud backup — your data is safe I'm David, guitarist and developer of Repétude. I built this app because I was missing structure in my practice. From the gym, I knew apps where you build workouts, save your weights and just pick up where you left off next time. I wanted exactly that for guitar practice — an app that removes the overhead and gets you straight into practicing. When I couldn't find anything that fit, I built it myself. The name comes from "reps" (repetitions from training) and "étude" — pieces composers wrote specifically for building technique. Fretone is a practice companion for guitar — six focused tools, no subscription, no streaks or badges nagging you to keep a habit alive. Just the instruments you actually reach for between practice sessions. CHORDS — CHORD LIBRARY Every common chord — majors, minors, sevenths, sus2/sus4, add9 — with real, hand-verified fingerings, not algorithmically nearest-fret guesses. Browse by key, see a chord's family and the chords commonly played alongside it, and switch between alternate fretboard positions for the same chord. DRILLS — FRETBOARD EXPLORER Explore the fretboard note by note, or drill chord changes against a real strum pattern (down-up, pop-rock, reggae skank, and more) at your own tempo. METRONOME A clean, accurate metronome with every time signature you'd actually use, swing subdivisions, and a tempo that's remembered the next time you open it. FINGERSTYLE — FINGERSTYLE TRAINER Learn and practice fingerstyle patterns with a hand diagram that shows exactly which finger plucks which string, in real time. Build your own patterns in the custom editor, chain several chords into a full fingerpicking sequence, or start from patterns you already know. REFERENCE — FRETBOARD REFERENCE Pick a note, a scale, a CAGED shape, or a key on the circle of fifths, and see every place it lives across the whole neck light up at once — pentatonic and full scales, all seven modes, triads, and seventh chords, tap any fret to hear it. The lookup a player actually reaches for mid-practice, not a quiz. TUNER Real-time pitch detection powered by an on-device neural pitch model, with a steady needle, per-string tuned marks, and a glow when every string is done. Works with 6- and 12-string guitars, bass, and ukulele. Works for any tuning your instrument uses, with a capo control that shifts what counts as "in tune" without changing which string you're touching. No accounts. No ads. No streaks. Just an instrument's worth of tools, built by a guitarist who wanted them to exist.
