Belletra teaches you language through the sentences that made it beautiful. Every day, one sentence — from Verlaine, Proust, Camus, Saint-Exupéry, Colette, Villon, Hugo. Not textbook language. The words that writers reached for when they needed them most. DEEP READING, NOT DRILLS Every sentence in Belletra is hand-picked and annotated by hand — never generated, never crowdsourced. You see every word broken down, every grammar explained, every cultural echo traced. Tap any word to open it. Read the etymology. Understand why it sits where it does. Then move on — carrying it with you. YOUR OWN ANTHOLOGY Keep the lines that stay with you. Build a personal anthology of the sentences that moved you. Review the words that mattered. ONE SENTENCE A DAY Not streaks. Not points. Not a leaderboard. Just the quiet rhythm of reading one great sentence — and understanding it completely. EVERY LANGUAGE, ONCE French now. Italian, Spanish, Latin, and more coming. Pay once on Lifelong and every language we add is yours — forever. Belletra is for people who want to read, not just communicate.
