Video Recorder with Trigger records video or takes photos automatically when it hears a sound — so the camera is already rolling the moment something happens. Point the phone at the scene, set the sound level, and arm the trigger. When a noise above your level is detected, recording starts by itself. Or skip the trigger and record manually whenever you like. PERFECT FOR • Finding out what's making that noise at night • Watching wildlife, birds and pets while you're out of sight • Recording who comes to the door • Capturing snoring or sleep talking • Documenting noisy neighbours or barking dogs • Any moment you can't sit and wait for SOUND TRIGGER • Simple calibration screen: make the sound, watch the live level meter, set the trigger just above the background noise • Live level indicator while armed, so you can see how close sounds come to triggering • Optional automatic re-arm after each recording — leave the phone unattended and capture every event RECORDING • Record video or take photos, front or rear camera • Set a recording length, or record continuously until you stop • Optional countdown delay with sounds before recording starts • Optional flashlight signal when recording begins • Works in portrait and landscape YOUR RECORDINGS • Browse everything with thumbnails, sorted by date, length or tag • Colour tags with your own names to organise recordings • Add notes to any recording • Each recording is tagged with its location — view a single recording on the map, or see everywhere a whole group was recorded • Full-screen playback with standard controls • Share recordings or save them to your Photos library • Select multiple recordings to tag, share or delete in one go This free Lite version lets you try everything with up to 5 videos stored (photo capture is available in the full version). Upgrade to Video Recorder with Trigger for unlimited recordings, photos, and multi-share. No account, no subscription, no ads. Your recordings stay on your device. A black screen for less glare. Silent photos for quieter moments. Screet puts discreet photo and video controls within reach, so you can choose your camera setup and capture at your own pace. BLACK SCREEN CAMERA Keep the capture screen black or dim the display to reduce the bright camera preview. Choose the look that suits the moment while keeping control of when a photo or recording begins. Black screen changes the capture interface only; the iOS camera and microphone indicators remain visible. SILENT PHOTOS Silent Capture creates a still photo from a live video frame without the usual shutter sound. This Screet Pro mode is for photos, not silent video. Video may record microphone audio when you grant permission. Silent Capture does not use flash. YOUR CAMERA, YOUR CONTROLS • Switch between the front and rear cameras. • Choose photo or video and your save destination before capture. • Select HD or 4K, with 30 or 60 FPS on supported devices and formats. • Adjust zoom up to 5× where supported. • Use flash in compatible standard photo mode. Available resolution, frame rate, zoom and flash depend on your iPhone, selected camera and capture format. OPEN THE CAMERA, THEN CAPTURE Widgets and shortcuts open the capture screen; they never start recording automatically. You start and stop capture yourself. Screet must stay open in the foreground and does not record in the background or while your iPhone is locked. Standard photos are free. Video recording, Silent Capture and advanced controls such as 4K and 60 FPS require Screet Pro. Plan details and pricing are shown in the app. Capture with the necessary consent and follow local laws and venue rules.
