About

TaxPilot

TaxPilot counts the days you spend in each country and shows where you could become a tax resident, before it happens. Built for digital nomads, remote workers, expats and anyone who lives in more than one country. TaxPilot is free. No subscription, no ads, no account to create. YOUR DAYS, COUNTED FOR YOU • Turn on automatic tracking and TaxPilot notes which country you are in each day. It only knows the country, never where you are inside it, and your location stays on your iPhone. • Prefer to do it by hand? Add trips in the Days calendar, or type them in your own words ("Lisbon in March, then two weeks in Berlin") and TaxPilot turns them into dates for you to confirm. • Every country is counted inside its own tax year: the UK from 6 April, Australia from 1 July, most others from 1 January. A PLAN FOR EVERY COUNTRY • Choose what you want: stay under the 183-day line, or become resident somewhere on purpose. • See at a glance how many days you have left, and get a heads-up before you reach a limit. • Keep track of work days, days off and the ties that count too: a home, family, a job. ANSWERS IN PLAIN WORDS • Ask TaxPilot questions like "What happens if I stay two more weeks in Spain?" It answers using your own day counts. 15 free questions every month. • The Guide explains residency, double taxation and treaties through short illustrated stories and a glossary. • The Global Tax Index covers 164 countries: tax rates, residency rules and how each country taxes foreign income. TALK TO AN EXPERT WHEN YOU NEED ONE • Partner tax advisors in 32 countries from the Global Tax Consulting network. Contact them directly from the app. 8 LANGUAGES English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish and Korean. PRIVACY Your location is worked out on your iPhone and never uploaded. Usage analytics stay off unless you turn them on. When you use Ask TaxPilot or type in your trips, the details needed for the answer are sent to Anthropic, our AI provider. Our server keeps none of them. IMPORTANT TaxPilot gives general information and helps you keep records. It is not tax, legal or financial advice. Tax rules change and depend on your situation, so check with a qualified advisor before you decide. TaxPilot is made by Global Tax Consulting.
