About

HopscotchHorror

Features

Hopscotch Horror is a spine-chilling 2D arcade game that reimagines the classic playground game of hopscotch as a pulse-pounding survival horror experience. Developed by Zhendian Technology, this addictive title challenges players to hop, land, and survive as the undead close in from behind. Simple to learn but brutally difficult to master, Hopscotch Horror combines nostalgic charm with genuine tension. The Story You awaken in a forgotten cemetery shrouded in eternal twilight. Ancient spirits have marked the ground with glowing hopscotch grids โ€” the only path to freedom. But the restless dead are hungry, and every misstep brings them closer. The deeper you go, the more twisted the graveyard becomes. Ghostly apparitions try to distract you, cracked tombstones crumble beneath your feet, and the moans of the horde grow louder with each passing moment. Can you hop your way out, or will you become one of them? Gameplay Hopscotch Horror distills survival gameplay into one simple mechanic: jump and land perfectly. But perfection is everything. The core gameplay loop includes: Tap & Hold to Jump: Press and hold to charge your hop. Release to launch onto numbered tiles. Land in the center for a perfect hop โ€” this builds your combo meter and pushes back the pursuing zombies. Zombie Pursuit: A horde of undead follows behind you. Each missed landing or cracked tile lets them gain ground. Let them get too close, and it's game over. Haunted Tiles: As you progress, tiles become unpredictable. Cracked graves crumble after one use. Ghost tiles fade in and out. Moving platforms shift beneath your feet. Every level introduces new hazards that test your timing and nerve. Power-Ups: Collect lanterns to briefly slow down time, allowing for precise landings. Grab crosses to temporarily repel zombies, giving you breathing room. Find speed boots to gain a burst of distance from the horde. Combo System: Chain perfect hops to build your multiplier. Higher combos mean more points, faster progression, and special rewards.
