Recordo vs Nitka

Your brain runs a hundred tabs. Recordo closes them. Just talk, and AI turns your brain dump into a to do list, reminders and a plan for today. I built Recordo because I have ADHD and every other planner felt like homework. No setup, no forms. If you can text, you can use it. "Has given me so much of my daily capacity back. Amazing!" - Fiona, App Store review JUST TALK. AI DOES THE REST. - Brain dump by voice, text or photo. Hands-free voice mode keeps listening while you think out loud. - AI turns it into tasks with dates, reminders and checklists, or saves it as a note. - "What was that idea I had last Tuesday?" Ask in plain words and AI finds it. - Share text or images from any app straight into Recordo. - Pick a coach personality: The Pilot breaks tasks into tiny steps, The Buddy is a warm, judgment-free friend who gets it, The Hype turns chores into a game. ONE TASK AT A TIME Tired of staring at a 50-item list? Recordo shows you the one next task. - Momentum Mode gives every task a Plan, a Coach and a focus timer. - The AI Coach breaks big tasks into micro-steps and helps you restart after distractions. - Smart prioritization weighs urgency, so you don't have to decide. - Reminders at the time you choose: 5 minutes, 2 hours before, or right on time. Gentle nudges, not shame spirals. - Home Screen widget: see your next task and capture a thought in one tap. PLAN YOUR DAY - Calendar view for Day, 3 days or Week, with your tasks as time blocks. - Connect Google Calendar to see meetings next to your tasks and get a warning when plans overlap. - Show your Recordo tasks in Apple Calendar or any calendar app with a private link. PROJECTS - Group tasks and notes into color-coded projects, each with an optional goal. - Filter your list by project and keep work, home and side projects apart. ROUTINES THAT ACTUALLY STICK - Morning and evening routines designed for low dopamine days. - Recurring tasks that roll forward automatically. - Visual progress that makes every small win feel real. A COACH THAT KNOWS YOU - Tell Recordo what you struggle with and the coach adapts to how your brain works. - Memory: the coach remembers what you tell it and plans around it. You can turn it off any time. - Automations: let the coach plan your day or prepare for tomorrow on a schedule. SWITCHING FROM ANOTHER APP? Import your open tasks from Todoist in a few taps. Nitka notices what you would have forgotten. Life has too many moving parts. Promises, deadlines, appointments, bills, travel, and all the small bits of admin that never make it into your calendar. Nitka keeps the thread running through it all, so none of it lives only in your head. Tell Nitka once, by voice or text, with a photo, or by forwarding an email. Choose what you want Nitka to remember. It connects it to your day and brings it back when it matters. IT NOTICES WHAT YOU MIGHT MISS A reminder tells you what you asked it to remember. Nitka goes further: it notices things you might not have thought to ask about: • "Your dinner on Thursday at 8:30 overlaps with an event already in your calendar." • "Your documents are due on Saturday, but you're away from Wednesday. Want to send them before you leave?" • "You photographed the finished job. Want a reminder to send the invoice tonight?" Every suggestion tells you why it appeared. TELL NITKA ONCE, THEN LET IT GO Capture something the moment you think of it: • Say it as you walk out the door. • Type a few words in two seconds. • Snap a receipt, a quote, or a letter, and Nitka reads it. • Forward an email to memos@heynitka.com and it becomes a memo. You can capture anything offline, and it syncs when you're back online. ASK NITKA LATER "What did I promise Priya?" "When is the car insurance due?" Just ask. Nitka finds the answer in what you've told it, and checks your calendar for anything relevant. You don't need to remember where you put it. Just ask Nitka. IT HANDLES THE DETAILS • Recurring reminders. "Every Tuesday evening" becomes a recurring reminder without creating duplicates. • Corrections on the fly. "Actually, it's the 5th" updates the note and moves the reminder. • Knows who you mean. Your partner, your daughter, a client. Nitka keeps track of who's who. • Works with your calendar. It reads your schedule so its warnings fit your actual day, and never stores your events. TURN YOUR NOTES INTO A REPORT Need a summary of a job, a trip, or a month of spending? Nitka pulls it together from your own notes and can email it to you. REMEMBERS WHAT YOU CHOOSE, NOT EVERYTHING YOU DO No inbox mining. No screen recording. No background tracking. Nitka works only on what you deliberately give it, organised by the people, places, and activities in your life. USEFUL WHEN IT MATTERS, QUIET WHEN IT DOES NOT Accept a suggestion, dismiss it, or tell Nitka never to raise it again. Tell it whether you want a ping each time or one daily summary, and it respects your quiet hours. HOWEVER IT COMES OUT Speak or type in whatever language comes naturally, and mix two languages in the same sentence if that's how you talk. Nitka understands almost any language. The app itself is available in English, French, and Russian today, with more languages to come. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your data is never sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI. Export everything or delete your account at any time, from inside the app. Encrypted in transit and at rest, and our logs never include your memos. Never lose the thread.
