About

HoldPace

Features

HoldPace is a training log and a calorie tracker in one app, so the two halves of getting in shape finally sit in the same place. TRAINING Follow a ready-made programme or write your own, week by week, day by day. During a session the screen shows one movement at a time: the weight, the reps, the RPE and a rest timer that starts itself when you finish a set. It remembers what you lifted last time, so you are never guessing where to start. More than 260 exercises, each one explained: how the movement runs, the cues that matter, and the mistakes worth avoiding. Many carry an illustration as well. FOOD Photograph a meal and get an estimate broken into items you can correct: change the grams, delete what is not there, add what the photo missed. It is an estimate, and the app says so — the numbers stay yours to fix. Photos are analysed by Anthropic's AI model, and the app asks before the first one is sent. Or scan a barcode, or search a catalogue of 500+ foods, Azerbaijani cooking included. Every food you log also adds up its vitamins, minerals, fibre and sodium, measured against the reference amounts for your age and sex — with how much of the day's food the figures actually cover. PROGRESS Weight over weeks rather than days. Tape measurements. Body fat from the US Navy method. Per-lift strength, so you can see which movement is actually moving. A weekly read that tells you what changed and what to do about it. Vitamins and minerals day by day, so a pattern shows rather than one plate. WHAT IS FREE The exercise library, ready-made programmes and the programme builder, logging workouts, counting calories and macros by search, barcode or by hand, three photo estimates a day, and your weight, measurements and body fat. No time limit on any of it. WHAT PRO ADDS Up to 15 photo estimates a day, vitamins and minerals (today and day by day), the weekly read, and your programmes kept on the phone for a gym with no signal. The vitamin panel can be tried free for three days, the weekly read for one. One week free, then monthly or yearly. Cancel any time from Settings. Calorie targets use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, body fat uses the US Navy circumference method, and vitamin and mineral references are the US National Academies' Dietary Reference Intakes. All are estimates, not medical advice. If you are pregnant, or have diabetes, a heart, kidney or liver condition, or a food allergy, talk to your doctor before you start. The app speaks Azerbaijani, English and Russian. HoldPace Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
