Up Lifting

Cut through the noise and lift. This is the strength training app I wanted but couldn't find, so I built it. Up Lifting is a focused, no-nonsense workout tracker for people who want to lift. It stays out of your way while you train, then shows you exactly where the weight should go next. Whether you're powerlifting, bodybuilding, or three weeks into your first program, it keeps your attention where it belongs: on the lift. WHY UP LIFTING Most workout apps try to do everything, then let you down on the thing that actually matters: recording your training. I wanted notes. I wanted to see my previous lifts without digging through menus. I wanted it to be fast while I'm under the bar. EFFORTLESS LOGGING A clean, fast keypad for sets, reps, weight and RPE, with no friction between you and the next set. APPLY TO ALL SETS One tap fills your target weight and reps across every set in an exercise, instead of typing the same numbers five times. LAST TIME, RIGHT THERE Your previous weights, reps and RPE sit directly above the set you're filling in. No guessing what to load, no menu digging. NOTES ON EVERY SET Seat positions, how it felt, what to change next week. Notes are a first-class part of a set, not buried in a submenu. SMART REST TIMERS Floating, compact, or the expressive Wiggly timer. Set a per-exercise override so a heavy squat and a lateral raise don't share a rest window, and the timer follows you across screens. LIVE ACTIVITIES & DYNAMIC ISLAND Your rest timer keeps counting on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with your Up Next exercise right there. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Next workout, week streak and recent personal bests, at a glance. PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE Scrub through volume, estimated 1RM and rep maxes over weeks. Current working weight and all-time best side by side, so a good day is obvious. ROUTINES THAT BEND Plan your split ahead of time, then swap an exercise, add a set or reorder a superset mid-session without wrecking the template. Or walk in cold and start an on-the-fly workout. EXERCISE LIBRARY Searchable movements with muscle tags and real descriptions, plus your own custom exercises for that one odd machine your gym has. MAKE IT YOURS Light and dark themes, custom accent and muscle-group colours, card styles, and your own photo behind the whole thing. APPLE HEALTH Completed workouts sync two-way with Apple Health. SHARE YOUR WINS Finish a session and Up Lifting builds the card for you: total volume, duration and the lifts that mattered, over your own gym photo. Post it straight to r/UpLiftingApp or save it out. BRING YOUR HISTORY Import your full training history from Strong, or paste a plain-text program and let the AI importer build the routine. GO PRO, BUT ONLY FOR THE EXTRAS No core functionality is behind a paywall. The whole app is free to use for as long as you want. Pro Edition adds the bonus features I thought were fun: Increment Up — performance analysis that tells you when to add weight to the bar. Change It Up — plateau detection and reminders to rotate training blocks. Are You Still There? — the anti-distraction tool for focused lifting. Intelligent Reminders — notifications that know whether you've already trained today. Achievements — badges for consistency, volume milestones and personal records. Journey — a timeline of every PR and milestone across your whole lifting career. PRIVACY FIRST. ALWAYS. Your training data is yours. Up Lifting stores everything on your device and backs up to your personal iCloud. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Export raw JSON or CSV whenever you like.
