Run with Tandem vs StepCat

Tandem matches you with a random opponent every week for a simple challenge: who can walk more steps? No friends list to manage, no complex workouts to track—just you, your steps, and one goal: beat your opponent by Sunday night. HOW IT WORKS • Every Sunday at midnight, you're matched with a new anonymous competitor • Track your steps throughout the week and watch the battle unfold in real-time • Win by walking more steps than your opponent by week's end • Start fresh with a new match the following week FEATURES Weekly Competitions Get automatically matched with a new opponent every week. See their name and city, but nothing else—anonymous competition at its purest. Real-Time Battle View Watch your progress against your opponent with live step counts. Dynamic messages keep you motivated whether you're ahead, behind, or neck-and-neck. Daily Step Goals Set a personal daily goal (2,500 to 50,000 steps) and track your progress alongside the weekly competition. Competition History Review your journey with a complete history of past matches. See your wins, losses, and how you've improved over time. Home Screen Widget Keep the competition front and center with a widget showing your current steps, opponent's steps, and who's winning. Seamless HealthKit Integration Syncs automatically with Apple Health. Your steps are tracked in the background—no manual logging required. Privacy focused. No social pressure. Just walk.
