Ping TV vs Scenico

Ping TV is a video platform where creators share original content and connect with viewers. Watch live streams, discover videos, support your favorite creators with gifts, and build communities around shared interests.

Scenico keeps track of the shows and movies you watch. No accounts, no emails, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. Your library stays entirely on your device. What you watch is your business—we don't run servers, so your data never leaves your phone. WHAT TO WATCH NEXT Open the app and instantly see what’s next. Your home screen prioritizes unseen episodes for every show you follow, sorted by how far behind you are. Movies get their own dedicated tab, cleanly split between your watchlist and watched history. Binge-watched a whole season? Log it all in a single tap. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Keep your queue front and center. Small and medium widgets display your next episode, show title, and how many episodes you're behind—tapping one takes you straight to the show. When you're all caught up, your widget will let you know. EASY IMPORT FROM TV TIME Switching is seamless. Scenico imports your TV Time GDPR data export, matching every show, movie, and watched episode against The Movie Database (TMDB). Years of watch history, rebuilt in seconds. DISCOVER & EXPLORE Browse upcoming releases, this week's airings, current cinema runs, trending hits, and hidden gems—all filterable by genre and split between TV and movies. Get personalized recommendations based on your library, explore "People Also Like" suggestions, or search TMDB to find and add anything ever made. NEVER LOSE YOUR DATA Scenico automatically backs up your library to your personal iCloud once a night, keeping a rolling history of your last five backups. Switching to a new phone or doing a clean install? Pick up right where you left off. Backup frequency is entirely up to you. SMART, PRIVATE NOTIFICATIONS Get local alerts on season premiere mornings and movie release days for titles in your watchlist. Everything is scheduled directly on your device—no push servers, no tracking, and no sign-ups required. YOUR WATCH STATS Dive into your habits with detailed insights: total episodes and movies watched, exact watch time, top genres ranked by hours, your busiest viewing months, and your most-watched series. MORE FEATURES • Fully localized in English and Italian (including title translations) • Comprehensive cast & crew pages with full filmographies • Built-in TMDB API key, with full support to use your own personal key if preferred This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
