SlopeSmart2.0 vs Vibe Drive

This app finds a path for you minimizing (or maximizing) elevation gain and sunlight exposure and allows you to analyze segments of the route while choosing minimal exposure, maximum speed, or a balanced choice between.

Vibe Drive is built for drivers who believe the journey matters more than the destination. Whether you're chasing mountain switchbacks, rolling through hidden hamlets, or hunting for that perfect stretch of road with nothing but curves and elevation ahead of you — this app finds the routes worth driving. Enter a start and destination, and Vibe Drive generates up to 8 scenic route alternatives that prioritize winding roads, elevation changes, and small-town detours over highway monotony. Each route is analyzed and scored so you can compare options at a glance, then launch turn-by-turn navigation in Apple Maps with a single tap. Every route gets a scenic score from 0 to 100 based on real road geometry and terrain data: • Curvature — Tighter, more frequent curves score higher. Vibe Drive analyzes the actual shape of every road segment to find routes that twist and turn. • Elevation — Routes with real climbs, descents, and varied terrain earn top marks. Flat and featureless gets filtered out. The result: routes that feel like they were drawn by someone who actually enjoys driving. Vibe Drive doesn't just add random detours. It searches for small towns, villages, and hamlets along a natural corridor between your start and destination — places that pull you off the highway just enough to discover something new, without sending you wildly off course. Every waypoint is chosen to balance scenic value with reasonable drive time. • Compare up to 8 route alternatives ranked by scenic score • See detailed stats: distance, duration, curvature rating, elevation gain and loss • One-tap navigation launch with Apple Maps, complete with waypoints • Use your current location as a starting point • Works for road trips, weekend drives, and everything in between Vibe Drive is a simple, focused tool for people who care about how they get there. Fire it up, pick a destination, and let the road do the rest.
