koukoutsa vs Eclassy Teacher

Our journey began with an urgent realisation. Busy schedules, fatigue, and human error have led to heartbreaking incidents where children were accidentally left behind in vehicles. These tragedies remind us of the importance of creating tools that support parents and educators in safeguarding children’s well-being. Our platform provides kindergarten and nursery school teachers with a seamless way to mark attendance and send real-time absence alerts via SMS. By bridging the gap between schools and families, koukoutsa helps prevent delays in communication and ensures that no child is ever overlooked.

eClassy Teacher is the all-in-one workspace for private tutors, language teachers, and school institutes. Run your classes from your phone: manage students, take attendance, assign homework, send announcements, and keep parents informed—instantly through the companion eClassy Class parent app. BUILT FOR HOW YOU TEACH Whether you teach on your own or run a multi-teacher institute, eClassy Teacher adapts to your setup: • Individual teachers — create classes, register students, and communicate with parents directly. • Institute owners — manage your school, invite teachers, approve join requests, and assign classes. • Institute teachers — join with a registration ID, get approved by the owner, and work only in the classes assigned to you. STUDENT & CLASS MANAGEMENT • Create and organize classes with clear room capacity. • Register students and open full student profiles. • Generate parent invite codes so families can link to the right child in the eClassy Class app. • Review and handle parent contact requests in one place. ATTENDANCE MADE SIMPLE • Mark students present, absent, or late from a daily calendar view. • Browse attendance history by date. • Public holidays are suggested automatically based on your phone country, so you spend less time on admin. HOMEWORK & ANNOUNCEMENTS • Post class homework with text and file attachments (photos, PDFs, and more). • Send class announcements or institute-wide broadcasts. • Parents receive push notifications on eClassy Class when new homework or news is published—no more lost messages in group chats. PARENT COMMUNICATION eClassy Teacher works together with eClassy Class, our free app for parents. When you post homework, attendance updates, or announcements, families see them in their own app. You stay in control of what is shared; parents stay informed without extra email chains or social media groups. LESSON FEE REMINDERS Send polite monthly reminders when lesson fees have not been recorded as paid. Payments are handled directly between you and parents—eClassy does not process tuition in the app. NOTIFICATIONS & INBOX • Push alerts for parent link requests, institute activity, and important updates. • A built-in notification history so you never miss what needs your attention. • Open alerts from the lock screen and land in your inbox first—then jump to the right screen when you are already in the app. INSTITUTE TOOLS • Share your institute registration ID from Settings. • Approve or reject teacher join requests. • Assign teachers to specific classes. • Switch institute context if you teach at more than one school. SIGN IN YOUR WAY Create an account with phone and password, or use Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. Phone verification keeps accounts secure. SUBSCRIPTION & FREE TRIAL Individual teachers and institute owners choose a plan that fits their size—from solo tutors to larger teams. Start with a one-week free trial, or redeem a promotional code if you have one. Institute staff teachers join through their school and do not need a separate subscription. PRIVACY & SECURITY Your data is used only to run your classes and communicate with parents. We use Firebase for secure sign-in and messaging. You can delete your account from Settings at any time. LANGUAGES The app supports multiple languages including English, Greek, Spanish, German, French, and more—so teachers and institutes can work in the language they prefer.
