Eight Blocky Limbs is a Muay Thai fighting game with toy fighters made of blocks. Pick a corner, beat every rival on the road in best-of-three fights, and find out who is waiting at the end of it. The fighters are simple. The technique is not. Straight punches, hooks and body shots. Elbows and knees. Teeps that keep a rival at the end of your leg. Roundhouse kicks to the leg, the body and the head. Check a kick with your shin and the kicker is the one who limps. Get chest to chest, tie up the neck and throw knees until the referee breaks it. Two thumbs are enough. A joystick and three buttons, with a direction or a swipe for the rest. The Moves sheet is one tap away in any fight and tells you exactly what to press. Eight fighters, each with a specialty, a signature combination and a home stage: a rooftop over Bangkok, a temple in Chiang Mai, a beach at night in Phuket, a night market, a jade garden, ancient ruins, a stadium and the mist of Lampang. A hidden ninth is waiting for anyone who clears the road. A training room with a heavy bag and a full-size ring lets you learn every strike at your own pace. Free to start: Chai and Niran, the first two rivals of every run, the training room and the move guide. One purchase opens the other six fighters, the rest of the road, the championship and the hidden challenger, for good. No ads. No accounts. No tracking. Everything stays on your phone and the game works offline. It respects Reduce Motion, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver. Muay Thai is a real art. This is a toy. Train with a coach before trying any of it for real.
