The Riffle reads the river for you. Pick any of 16 Northeast trout waters — from the Farmington and Housatonic to the Battenkill, Beaverkill, and the Delaware — and The Riffle pulls live USGS flow and National Weather Service conditions, then tells you what to tie on right now. • Live flow and weather, with flow shown against the seasonal normal for that river • A date-aware hatch calendar — what's actually emerging this week, tuned per river • Clear fly recommendations with sizes and how to rig them • Spotted a hatch? Tell the app and it matches your flies to what you're seeing • Plan a trip: a multi-day outlook from forecast and climatology • A logbook for your catches, flies, and notes — synced across devices with a free account • Favorite up to three rivers and get a nudge when a hatch peaks or conditions turn right • Local fly-shop directory and stocking notes for every water The Riffle is honest about its limits: the hatch list is a regional calendar, not a live bug cam, and conditions come straight from public USGS and NWS feeds. It's a companion for your own judgment on the water — not a replacement for it.
