About

Brief

Features

Brief is a calm, premium news reader for people who want to understand the world - not doomscroll it. Every day Brief reads tens of thousands of articles from established news outlets, groups them into the stories that actually matter, and gives you one clear brief of each. No infinite feed. No outrage bait. No account. THE GLOBE Open Brief and the world is in front of you. Countries glow where genuinely major news is breaking - weighted by how important the story is, not how many articles mention it. Tap any country to read its news. Scrub back through past days to see how the world moved. EVERY STORY, PROPERLY SOURCED Brief does not republish articles. Each story names the outlets covering it and links straight out to the original reporting on the publisher's own site. You can see how many outlets are covering a story, who reported it first, and how the coverage developed hour by hour. WHAT YOU GET - A daily brief of the stories that matter, ranked by importance - A living globe showing where the world's attention actually is - Every story traced to its sources, with direct links to the original articles - The wire: how a story developed, outlet by outlet - Country briefings - tap a country, read its news, scrub through its week - Sort by importance or recency, and filter by how widely a story is covered HONEST ABOUT AI Story summaries in Brief are written by AI from the reporting of the outlets we credit, and are labelled as such. They are a starting point - the original article, always one tap away, is the destination. PRIVACY No account. No login. No ads. No tracking. Brief collects anonymous usage analytics only - never your name, email, or location. Brief covers geopolitics and AI.
