About

Cube Battle

Features

Solve the cube the easy way, then challenge friends. Cube Battle teaches you to solve a 3x3 cube on a 3D cube you turn with your finger. Every week, you race other players on the same scrambles. A real cube, anywhere Drag a tile to turn its layer. Drag the background to rotate the whole cube. In Practice, you can undo a move, see your solve time and move count, and try to beat your personal best. Learn step by step If you have never solved a cube, start with Learn. It takes you from your first turn to a solved cube in 7 stages: • Reading the Cube • The White Cross • The First Layer • The Middle Layer • The Yellow Cross • The Last Layer Corners • The Final Turns Each stage shows the idea before you try it. The cube dims every piece except the ones the step is about, and a flat net shows all six faces. Every algorithm uses standard notation, such as R, U', and F2, so you can use the same moves on a physical cube. Master the last layer If you can already solve the cube, the PLL Trainer teaches 2-look PLL. You learn to spot three patterns called Headlights, Bar, and Block. Then you drill 6 beginner cases, corners first and edges second. A new race every week Each week has a new set of scrambles, and every player gets the same ones. You get one attempt at each scramble. Solve the whole set to get a total time. See where you rank The weekly leaderboard ranks players by total time. It shows your rank, the players just above and below you, and the fastest times of the week. Race your friends Create a group and share its code. Friends who join with the code get a weekly leaderboard with only the group's members. Groups never expire, so the same code works every week. Pick up where you left off Cube Battle saves an unfinished solve and your progress in Learn. If you leave in the middle of a solve, you continue from the same position. Also included • Haptic feedback on each turn • Follows your phone's Reduce Motion setting • English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese • Sign in with Game Center to keep your username and Challenge results
