Bisque is a studio journal for potters and clay artists: follow every piece from wet clay to finished pot, keep your glaze recipes in one library, and log every kiln firing. TRACK YOUR PIECES Move each piece through its stages with a tap: in progress, drying, bisque ready, bisqued, glaze ready, glazed, fired, then sold, given away, broken or recycled. Add photos, the clay body, the glaze you plan to use, size and notes, and see where everything sits in your studio. BUILD YOUR GLAZE LIBRARY Record each glaze you mix: ingredients with percentages and additions, cone, atmosphere (oxidation, reduction, neutral, soda, salt, wood), surface (gloss, satin, matte, dry matte, crystal), color, application notes and a rating. Mark it untested, testing, proven or retired. LOG YOUR FIRINGS Bisque, glaze, lustre, raku, pit or saggar, salt or soda, wood. Note the kiln, cone and atmosphere, build the ramp schedule segment by segment (target temperature in °F or °C, rate, hold), and record cone pack results, firing time, cost and the outcome. Each cone shows its temperature from the Orton chart. UMF CALCULATOR (PRO) Turn a recipe's ingredient percentages into its Unity Molecular Formula, using a built-in database of common glaze materials (feldspars, clays, frits, fluxes and colorants), and check its fluxes, silica and alumina against typical ranges for the glaze's cone. AI STUDIO ASSISTANT (PRO) Ask about glaze defects such as crawling or pinholing, throwing a difficult form, or reduction and oxidation, and get an answer from an AI assistant powered by Grok (30 questions a day). FREE - Up to 10 pieces (3 photos on each), 5 glazes and 5 firings - Studio counts and recent activity on the home screen BISQUE PRO - Unlimited pieces, glazes, firings and photos - UMF calculator - AI Studio Assistant Bisque Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically.
