Whether you’re a complete beginner or already know a little, you can start right where you are. ■ One lesson a day, one 15-day season [4 Hangul Lessons] Consonants, vowels, final consonants, and double consonants. Each lesson starts with a one-line explanation of the basic principle, then has you read and write the letters one by one before checking your understanding with a quiz. If you already know how to read Hangul, you can skip these lessons. [One Conversation Lesson a Day] One conversation you can use right away, such as “How much is it?”, “Where do you live?”, and “Would you like coffee or tea?” Listen, learn new words and grammar, practice speaking along, and check your understanding with a quiz. Ten minutes a day is all you need. [15-Day Season] Spend 15 days learning alongside people who started on the same day. Your medals add up each day, and when the season ends, you’ll receive a recap that gives you an at-a-glance view of what you’ve learned. ■ Put your voice side by side with a native speaker’s Record yourself reading the dialogue straight through, then listen to the native speaker and your own voice alternately, line by line. Your ears will notice how and where they differ before any explanation can. At the end of each lesson, check your understanding with a five-question quiz. For every question you get wrong, you’ll see a relevant pattern explained in one line right away. ■ Explanation languages Start with explanations in English. Hangul Diary is the vocabulary companion built for serious Korean learners. Instead of flashcards you forget, it helps you collect words you actually encounter — with real context, sentence examples, and grammar analysis — so you build knowledge that sticks. **Capture Words Instantly** Add Korean words and their meanings by typing or speaking. Voice input with live transcription lets you capture spoken Korean hands-free, so you can practice pronunciation as you learn. **Save from Anywhere with Share** Reading a Korean article in Chrome? Watching a drama? Chatting with a Korean friend? Select any Korean text, tap Share, and send it straight to Hangul Diary. Choose to save it as a new vocab word or link it as a sentence to a word you already know — without breaking your flow. **Attach Real Sentences** Context is the secret to remembering vocabulary long-term. Attach multiple example sentences to every word, with optional translations. See the word in action and understand how it's actually used. **Morpheme Analysis** Go deeper than just meaning. Tap Analyze on any sentence to break it into morphemes with part-of-speech tagging, powered by the Komoran NLP engine. Understand how Korean grammar works — particles, verb endings, and all. **Organized & Searchable** Your entire vocabulary collection is searchable in an instant. See your total word and sentence count grow as you build. Duplicate detection prevents redundant entries and lets you jump straight to existing words. **Import & Export** Back up your vocabulary or move it between devices with CSV import and export. Your data is always yours. Whether you're a beginner picking up your first words or an intermediate learner building deeper fluency, Hangul Diary gives you the tools to learn Korean through real language, not isolated memorization.
