BlueWire is a secure professional networking and communication platform built exclusively for verified law enforcement professionals. Every user completes a multi-step verification process to help ensure the platform remains a trusted environment where officers can connect, communicate, and collaborate with confidence. BlueWire makes it easy to find and connect with verified officers across participating agencies, build professional networks, and communicate securely without sharing personal phone numbers or email addresses. Users can exchange direct messages, create group conversations, and place voice calls directly through the application. The platform also includes operational tools designed specifically for law enforcement. Officers can distribute BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alerts with photos to selected agencies, control how long alerts remain active, and receive responses directly from recipients. The Intel feature allows users to securely share non-emergency intelligence, investigative leads, crime trends, and other operational information with selected agencies or professional contacts. BlueWire includes The Wire, a professional discussion forum where verified users can start conversations, share information, ask questions, and participate in discussions on topics relevant to law enforcement, including investigative techniques, legal updates, technology, training, and emerging crime trends. The app also provides secure Personal Notes that allow officers to document encounters, organize person records, attach photographs, and quickly locate previous interactions using keyword search or photo-based face search. Whether communicating during daily operations, sharing time-sensitive information, or building professional relationships across jurisdictions, BlueWire provides a secure, verified platform designed to strengthen collaboration throughout the law enforcement community.
