A headache diary that works in the dark. HeadSense is for logging a headache while you are having one. Big targets, one thumb, no forms to fill in before the pain is recorded. The whole app is a dim room with one soft green light, because bright white screens are exactly what you cannot look at mid-attack. LOG IT IN SECONDS Intensity, location, triggers, and what you took. Update the intensity later from the Lock Screen without opening the app or turning the brightness up. SEE WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING Frequency over weeks and months. Which triggers keep showing up, what time of day they start, and which medications actually helped. Laid out plainly, with the numbers shown. REPORTS, RIGHT ON YOUR PHONE Weekly and monthly reports are arithmetic, computed on your device from what you logged. No server, no model, no guessing. Export them to take to a doctor. YOUR BACKUP, IF YOU WANT ONE Turn on iCloud backup in Settings and your history follows you to a new phone. It is off until you turn it on, it goes to your own private iCloud and nowhere else, and the app works exactly the same with it off. FREE, AND THAT IS THE WHOLE STORY HeadSense used to charge for its reports, because they ran on a server that cost money to keep running. They are arithmetic now, and arithmetic runs on your phone for free. So the app is free. No subscription, no account, no ads, and nothing collected. There is a tip jar in Settings that unlocks nothing. HeadSense is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose anything and nothing in it is medical advice.
