Shot Zala vs DouCap

Shot Zala is a talking-head video tool with a built-in teleprompter for creators who publish across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, RedNote, and more. RECORD IN ONE TAKE Open the app, load your script, and hit record. The built-in teleprompter scrolls your lines at a comfortable pace while the front camera captures your face as a floating avatar overlay. Your images, videos, or rear-camera feed fill the center content area. Everything composes in real time — what you see is what you get. PROFESSIONAL COMPOSITION, ZERO EDITING Every recording comes out production-ready. Your circular avatar floats over your content with golden-ratio placement, creating a clean, creator-style layout that looks polished on every platform. Choose from four corner positions, three sizes, and add an optional status emoji badge to personalize your look. MULTI-PLATFORM EXPORT Export in 9:16 (perfect for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts), 3:4 (great for RedNote), or both at once. Videos auto-save to your Photo Library and a share sheet appears immediately after recording — publish to any platform in seconds. BUILT-IN TELEPROMPTER Never forget your lines again. The teleprompter supports adjustable scroll speed, page-based navigation with tap zones and swipe gestures, and layer control so you can place it above or behind your avatar. Prepare your script in pages, and Shot Zala handles the flow. DUAL-CAMERA PICTURE-IN-PICTURE Use multi-cam mode to show the rear camera as your center content while your front-camera avatar stays on screen. Perfect for product demos, unboxings, and location-based content. ORGANIZED COLLECTIONS Keep your projects tidy with the built-in Collections system. Each artifact stores your pages, scripts, media, and recorded videos together. Browse your video library, preview recordings, and reshare anytime. MULTILINGUAL SUPPORT Interface and content available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Turkish, and Japanese. Demo templates included in all languages to help you get started instantly. MADE FOR TALKING-HEAD CREATORS Shot Zala is not a general video editor. It's a purpose-built tool for creators who want to turn scripts into talking-head videos in 5 minutes. No timeline. No transitions. No complexity. Just record, export, and share.
