Mim
Read full descriptionHide full description
Mim shares the meaning of a photo and reconstructs an image on the viewer’s device. The same post can become a slightly different scene for each person. Submit a photo post right away. On-device analysis creates the photo description after posting, so you can keep browsing the timeline and profiles while it runs. If you close the app, processing resumes when you return. Original photos used in posts stay on your device. Photo descriptions and structured generation information are shared with viewers, who generate images locally. Profile photos are uploaded when you select them. Descriptions can reveal the contents of a photo, so check what you share. • Photo descriptions with LFM2.5-VL-450M, with Apple Foundation Models as a fallback • On-device image generation with FLUX.2 Klein 4B • Text posts, likes, comments, follows, and notifications • Reporting, blocking, and safety checks before and after image generation • Japanese, English, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese Requires iOS 27.0.1 or later. Image generation requires a compatible device with at least 8 GB of memory and downloaded models. You can start with text posts and photo descriptions without downloading a model. To use Apple Foundation Models, enable Apple Intelligence on a supported device. Generated images can differ from the original photo and vary with the model and device.
