Focus One vs Murova

Focus One is a simple focus timer for people who want to start one task, stay with it, and reduce mental clutter. Choose what you will do now, set a timer, and begin. The app keeps the screen quiet so you can return to the one thing in front of you. The settings screen lets you choose the app language, so the app can be localized to the language you select. Useful for study, work, Pomodoro-style sessions, ADHD-friendly routines, and building a visible focus record over time.

Murova is a calm, offline-first Pomodoro timer that helps you work in focused sessions and actually rest between them. Start a focus block, take a break, repeat and build a streak you can see. Your countdown stays live on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, so you always know the time left without reopening the app. WORK IN SESSIONS • Classic Pomodoro (25/5), Deep Work (52/17), or your own custom intervals • Build sequences of focus, short breaks, and long breaks that fit how you work • Auto-continue to the next phase, with a gentle chime and haptics LIVE ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN & DYNAMIC ISLAND • See and control the timer right from the Dynamic Island • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show your current session and stats at a glance SEE YOUR MOMENTUM • Daily streak, total sessions, and focus time • A year-long activity heatmap • Detailed history with custom date ranges FOCUS SOUNDSCAPES • Rain, waves, café, forest, fire, and white noise • Keeps playing in the background while you focus PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Offline-first, no account, no servers, no tracking • Your sessions, stats, and settings never leave your device MUROVA PRO Unlock everything with a one-time Lifetime purchase or a monthly subscription: • Detailed statistics & history with custom date ranges • All ambient sounds and white noise • Custom intervals and saved profiles • Custom accent colors The timer, widgets, Live Activity, today's stats, and the activity heatmap are free, forever.
