Scale Relay

Get your smart scale's weigh-ins into Garmin Connect, straight from your iPhone. Two ways in, one tap out. APPLE HEALTH ROUTE: ANY SCALE If your scale's app saves weight to the Health app, Scale Relay picks it up and sends it to Garmin Connect. Works with Withings, Renpho, Eufy, Etekcity, Zepp Life, Wyze, Picooc and any other app that writes weight to Apple Health. Note: Withings accounts created on or after 13 October 2026 need Withings+ before the Withings app shares data with Apple Health. Body fat and BMI come along when your scale's app provides them. With the Sync to Garmin action in Shortcuts, an automation can send new weigh-ins without opening the app. BLUETOOTH ROUTE: XIAOMI SCALES, NO OTHER APP NEEDED Step on a Mi Body Composition Scale 2 or a Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 and Scale Relay reads the measurement directly: weight, body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, water, BMI and BMR. It can also save each weigh-in to Apple Health. The S400 needs a one-time authorization with your Xiaomi account. WHAT YOU GET • A preview of every weigh-in before it is sent; nothing leaves without your tap or your Shortcut • Body composition in Garmin Connect, not just the weight • Bluetooth weigh-ins saved to Apple Health too, if you turn it on • A Sync to Garmin action for Shortcuts and automations • Weigh-ins from the last 7 days are included; Garmin Sync unlocks older history • One Garmin sign-in, two-factor authentication supported • A "Sent to Garmin" list so you know what arrived FREE TO TRY Your first two syncs are free on either route. Unlimited syncing is a single one-time purchase called Garmin Sync. No subscription. PRIVACY FIRST Your measurements stay on your iPhone and go only to your own Garmin account and, if you choose, to Apple Health. No Scale Relay account, no tracking, no ads. REQUIREMENTS • iOS 17 or later • A Garmin Connect account • Apple Health route: any scale app that writes weight to the Health app • Bluetooth route: Mi Body Composition Scale 2 or Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 Scale Relay is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Garmin, Xiaomi, Withings, Renpho, Eufy, Etekcity, Zepp, Wyze, Picooc or any other scale or fitness-platform maker. Product names are trademarks of their respective owners.
QN Scale
Read full descriptionHide full description
QN Scale is an app for bathroom scales that speak the QN protocol. Such scales are sold under the Qingniu, Yolanda and a dozen other names; on the air they usually appear as QN-Scale. Step on the scale and your weight is already recorded. You find the scale once — after that the app connects on its own while the phone simply lies nearby. • A chart that follows your finger: pan, pinch and an overview slider under the curve. Press and hold for a marker with the date, the weight and the change since last time. • 7, 30 and 90 days, or your whole history at once. • Body composition: the scale measures impedance and the app estimates body fat from it. There is an offset — for when you trust another result more. • A goal line on the chart and a forecast from the rate of the last thirty days, with the date the goal is reached. • Apple Health: weight, body fat and BMI go there with your permission, and you can import your history back — duplicates are filtered out. • The weigh-in reminder arrives only on days when you haven't stepped on the scale yet. • Russian and English switch inside the app, together with date and number formats. Your data goes nowhere. The app has no server, no accounts, no analytics and no third-party SDKs — there is not a single network call in its code. Weigh-ins stay on your iPhone, and Bluetooth is used only to talk to the scale. Body fat is an estimate from impedance, not a measurement: every manufacturer keeps its own closed formula. Watch how the number moves over time rather than its absolute value. The app is not a medical device and is not a substitute for a doctor.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: QN Scale at none against Scale Relay's 1. QN Scale also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
