Your voice. Their performance. RateTheRef is the only independent, fan-powered referee rating platform covering all four divisions of English football — Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two. Every week, referees make decisions that change matches. Now fans can hold them accountable. HOW IT WORKS After every match, rate your referee across five structured categories: Decision Accuracy — Were the big calls correct? Card Management — Were cards shown fairly? Game Flow — Did the ref keep the game moving? Consistency — Were decisions consistent throughout? Communication — Did the ref manage players well? Ratings aggregate into a live leaderboard — the only crowd-sourced referee performance database in English football. WHY RATETHEREF Covers all four divisions — not just the Premier League One rating per fan per match — no spam, no manipulation Verified accounts only — every rating is tied to a real fan 24-hour rating window — rate while it's fresh Live leaderboard — see how your ref ranks against all others YOUR DATA.
