GrayZone reads light where you decide — not where your camera guesses. Built by Max of max&douglas — professional photographer with 25 years in editorial and advertising photography. Zone System Mode Measure a reference area first (Zone V), then check where the other tones will fall and their relative EV difference, for precise and consistent exposure. Real SPOT Metering Reads light exclusively in the area you select. Ideal for portraits, complex lighting and critical situations. Calibrated to render the selected area as neutral gray. Direct Exposure Control Set ISO before metering, like a dedicated light meter. Instant precise combinations of shutter speed and aperture. Exposure lock with AE LOCK. Half-stop support for finer control. MANUAL mode with over/underexposure scale. Essential Interface Live preview in your sensor's native ratio. NEW UI color inversion Shows only what you need. Nothing else. Complete Privacy No ads. No photos saved. No data collected or transmitted. For manual shooters — on film or digital. It does not replace your camera. It works alongside it.

The light meter your film camera is missing. Point your iPhone at the scene, press MEASURE, set your camera. Accurate to within 1/3 stop, tested against professional meters. Luminic looks and works like the handheld meters of the 80s and 90s: a real LCD, real stops, no clutter. Built by a film shooter, for film shooters. METERING • Aperture priority: set your f-stop, get the shutter speed. • Shutter priority: set your speed, get the f-stop. • Scroll through equivalent exposure pairs to pick the combination you want. • Spot metering for reading just the highlight or shadow that matters. • Exposure compensation to shift the reading before you measure. READING LOG Stop scribbling exposures in a notebook. Flip the LOG switch and every reading is saved with aperture, shutter, ISO, timestamp, and a thumbnail of the scene. Long-press LOG to review your session. Up to 50 readings, stored only on your phone. ACCURACY • Full ISO range from 3 to 8000, in real 1/3 stops. • Calibration trim to match your own camera's meter, up to 2 EV in either direction. • A REC indicator and a confirmation tick tell you every reading landed. NO NONSENSE Works completely offline. No account, no ads, no tracking, no subscription. Buy it once, meter forever. PRIVACY Luminic does not collect or transmit any data.
