Simple Balance Planner answers one question: what will my account balance be next week, next month, and the month after that? It's a running checkbook register with a forward view. Enter what you know — the bills, the paychecks, the transfers — and the app carries the balance forward, day by day. You can see the dip before payday, the month rent and insurance land together, and the stretch where more money is sitting in checking than needs to be there. This is not a budget tracker or an expense categorizer. There are excellent apps for that. Simple Balance Planner does one thing: it keeps a single checking or savings account balanced over time. START WITH WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE • Import your bank's CSV export directly — the common bank column layout is understood as-is • Set an opening balance and every balance after it is computed for you • Have the app read your history and build recurring rules automatically for anything that shows up in three or more months • Export a blank template if you'd rather start from scratch RECURRING RULES DO THE WORK • Monthly, every-N-weeks, or every-N-days rules for rent, utilities, subscriptions and salary • Future occurrences project into your balance without being entered — 30 days ahead free, a full year with a subscription • Turn on "amount varies" for bills that change every period, so the rule still matches • Adjust a single month when one payment is late or larger, or edit the rule to change every future one RECONCILE AS THINGS CLEAR • Tick a transaction to verify it as it hits your bank — a projection becomes a real, recorded entry • Verified rows fade to grey so the unverified ones stay obvious • Jump straight to the oldest unverified transaction to pick up reconciling where you left off • Drag across checkboxes to verify a run of transactions at once BUILT FOR IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC • Syncs through your own iCloud account across every device you own • Full undo and redo, including on the Mac with ⌘Z and ⌘⇧Z • Search by description, note, or any amount — including balances • Touch and hold a row (right-click on Mac) for edit, insert, verify, skip an occurrence, or edit the rule behind it • Debits in red, credits in green, at a glance YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Everything lives on your device and in your private iCloud database. There are no accounts to create, no bank logins, no servers of ours in the middle, no analytics and no ads. Nothing is ever collected. You can export your transactions to CSV at any time, and erase everything from inside the app. Simple, private, and focused on one job: knowing what your balance is going to be. —————————— Simple Balance Planner is free to use, and projects your balance 30 days ahead at no cost. A subscription extends the projection to a full year. New subscriptions start with a two-week free trial, then continue at $0.99/month or $9.99/year. Importing, recurring rules, reconciling and iCloud sync are free and stay free. The subscription is auto-renewable. The two-week free trial is charge-free; nothing is taken from your Apple Account while it runs. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple Account is then charged $0.99 (monthly) or $9.99 (yearly) and the subscription renews automatically until you turn it off. Each renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription. Your checkbook register, exactly as you remember it. Simple Register brings the familiar paper checkbook register to your Apple devices. Open it, enter a transaction, see your balance, and close it. No bank connections, no complicated budgeting system, and no subscription. TRY IT FREE FOR 7 DAYS New customers can start a seven-day free trial with every feature. After the trial, unlock permanently with one purchase: US $9.99, with local pricing shown in the app. There is no subscription or automatic charge. Your existing records stay available to read and export after the trial. Customers who already own the paid app keep full access at no additional charge. FAST, FAMILIAR ENTRY • Record payments, deposits, checks, and transfers • Type 1254 and Simple Register enters $12.54 • A type-ahead payee list as you type, built from your own history • Save an entry and immediately add another • See your running and cleared balances at a glance • Move an entry to a different register when it landed in the wrong one RECONCILE WITH CONFIDENCE Enter your statement balance, check off cleared transactions, and watch the difference reach zero. Simple Register never changes your transaction amounts just from checking them off. Found something you forgot to enter, or a mistyped amount, while matching your statement? Add or fix it without losing your place — and if you need to step away, your checked items and statement amount are still there when you come back. SCHEDULED, ON ONE CALENDAR Set up anything that repeats — a paycheck, the mortgage, a bill whose exact amount isn't known yet — and see every register's upcoming entries on one monthly calendar. An entry that should post itself does; one you'd rather confirm yourself shows as a reminder until you say it's handled, or until a matching payment checks it off on its own. BIG ORDERS, HANDLED Enter a large order once at its full total — even if the bank bills it as several separate charges. List each charge under the entry as it posts, check them off one by one, and reconcile against your statement exactly the way the bank sees it. MADE FOR HOUSEHOLDS Keep as many registers as your household needs — checking, savings, a credit card, vacation fund, gift money — each with its own column labels so a savings register and a card balance never look like a checkbook. Transfers record both sides automatically and stay linked, and every entry shows who added it. YOUR REGISTER, YOUR STYLE Choose from familiar checkbook-inspired covers and ledger styles while keeping every number clear and readable. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No bank logins • No Plaid or financial account linking • No ads • No analytics • No Simple Register account • Optional local-only mode • Optional Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode protection YOUR DATA STAYS USEFUL Export your register to CSV or PDF whenever you need it. Edit history and Recently Deleted help protect you from mistakes. BUILT FOR APPLE DEVICES Use Simple Register on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with your private iCloud keeping your registers in step across your devices. Simple Register is for people who want to track their money themselves — without handing their financial history to another service. If you'd like to support development, an entirely optional one-time tip is available from Settings & Privacy — it never changes what the app unlocks.
