MusicianLearner is your personal practice coach — built for instrumentalists who want to hear exactly where they're going wrong and track their improvement over time. REAL-TIME NOTE DETECTION As you play, MusicianLearner listens and detects every note instantly using YIN and FFT algorithms. A live sheet view shows each note as you play it — colour coded green for correct, red for wrong, and grey for expected notes you haven't hit yet. AI-POWERED TRANSCRIPTION Upload any song you want to practise. Choose between on-device processing (fast, works offline) or AI extraction powered by Spotify's open-source Basic Pitch neural network — ideal for polyphonic pieces like piano chords and guitar arrangements. ACCURACY SCORE WITH DTW COMPARISON After each recording, Dynamic Time Warping compares your notes against the reference song — accounting for natural tempo variations — and gives you a precise accuracy percentage. Know exactly which notes you hit and which you missed. MUSIC SHEET GENERATOR Any uploaded song or recording can be visualised as rendered sheet music. Export as an image or PDF to bring to your teacher or print for your music stand. BUILT-IN CHROMATIC TUNER A chromatic tuner is always one tap away in the Tuner tab. Tune your instrument before every practice session without leaving the app, with an adjustable reference A from the standard 440 Hz. CHALLENGES Compete with other musicians on shared songs. Create a challenge from any of your songs, submit your recording, and see where you rank on the accuracy leaderboard. MUSICAL DNA Your Musical DNA builds automatically after each practice session — giving you a long-term accuracy profile across all your songs and instruments. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in with Google or Apple 2. Upload a reference song (MP3, M4A, WAV and more) 3. Tap + in Recordings, choose your song, and play along 4. Review your accuracy score and music sheet PRIVACY Your songs and recordings are stored privately — only you can access them. No ads, no tracking, no data sold to third parties.
