dB Guard
Read full descriptionHide full description
Dealing with noisy neighbors? dB Guard is a decibel meter and noise detector that keeps a timestamped log of every noise event, so you can show your landlord, property manager or HOA exactly what's happening. MONITOR OVERNIGHT (PRO) Start monitoring, lock your phone and go to sleep. dB Guard keeps measuring and logs every event above your threshold. In the morning you get a summary of what happened while you slept. AUTOMATIC NOISE LOG Every noise event is saved with time, peak and average dB, and duration. Add notes and photos to document the source. Events are grouped by night so patterns are obvious. QUIET HOURS RULES (PRO) Set quiet hours (for example 10 PM – 7 AM) with their own threshold. dB Guard flags every event that breaks them. EVIDENCE CASES Group events into a case for one problem — a neighbor, a bar, construction — and track how much evidence you have collected. You can also record an optional audio clip of up to 30 seconds to attach to an event. Clips are only recorded when you tap record and stay on your device unless you export them. PATTERN ANALYTICS (PRO) A weekly heatmap shows when noise is worst by day and hour, plus your noisiest hours and total events over 7 or 30 days. PDF REPORTS (PRO) Create a clear PDF report with timestamps, statistics and your notes to support a complaint. Readings come from your iPhone microphone and are approximate; reports are supporting documentation, not certified measurements. PRIVATE BY DESIGN dB Guard stores sound levels, not continuous audio, and keeps your data on your device. FREE • Real-time decibel meter • Noise event log for the last 24 hours • Adjustable threshold and event length PRO ($3.99/week, $29.99/year, or $39.99 once) • Unlimited monitoring and full history • Overnight monitoring and morning summaries • PDF reports, analytics and quiet-hours tracking Apple Terms of Service: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://dbguard.harrihk07.workers.dev/
