Chessoku is a logic puzzle made from chess pieces. A few pieces belong somewhere on a small board, and each number tells you how many of them attack that square. Work out where every piece stands. Every puzzle has exactly one solution. You don't need to know chess. Each piece is taught with a short animated lesson the first time you meet it. HOW TO PLAY - Drag pieces from your tray onto the board. - A number counts the pieces attacking that square. A 0 means none do. - Rooks, bishops and queens are stopped by anything in their way. Knights jump over. - Place every piece so all the numbers match, and the puzzle is solved. JOURNEY One long path of levels. It starts with a single rook on a 3×3 board and grows to 5×5 boards with several pieces at once. New rules arrive as you go: stones that block attacks, pieces already fixed on the board, revealed threats, colored areas and more. Each one is explained when it first appears, and Discoveries keeps them all, with coins for every one you find. Hard and Very Hard levels are marked and pay extra coins. DAILY PUZZLE A new puzzle every day, the same one for everyone. Each day has its own sticker: solve the puzzle to add it to your collection, then share it. Missed a day? Earlier days of the current month stay open. Collect stickers through the month to earn coin rewards. POWER-UPS Power-ups unlock as you progress through the Journey: - Reveal Number shows the count on a hidden square. - Reveal Threat shows which piece type attacks a square. - Reveal Piece shows where one hidden piece stands. ALSO - No timer in Journey or Daily puzzles. Take as long as you like. - Weekly and global leaderboards open at level 40. - Available in 18 languages. - A one-time No Ads purchase removes ads and lets you play the Journey offline.

Clear the board, one capture at a time. Every piece has to go, and the only legal move is a capture. Take a knight and you become the knight. Take a bishop and you move like a bishop. Pick the wrong order and your piece is stranded with nothing left to take — so you read the position again and find the line that works. Real chess rules, one new idea. A knight still moves like a knight; a bishop still cuts the diagonal. What changes is the goal: no opponent, no clock, and nothing to lose. Just a position, and whether you can see the way through it. WHAT YOU GET • Over 6,000 hand-checked boards across 250 packs • 10 piece types — the six from chess, plus four that only exist here! • 5 board sets to unlock as you clear the campaign • Difficulty that climbs as you go, and eases when you need it • Five skills for when a position will not fall: hint, undo, shield, morph, hammer HOW IT PLAYS Boards start at 3x3 and open up as you go. Every pack is a handful of positions with one honest solution each — solvable on the bus, and worth a second look at home. Almost every pack is untimed: take the minute you need. A few carry a clock as a challenge, and you will see it before you start. PLAY HOW YOU LIKE No account needed — the whole game works without signing in. Sign in with Apple only if you want your progress to follow you to a new phone. Plays offline. No ads, anywhere, ever. ABOUT LIVES AND COINS A run costs a life, and lives refill on their own over time. Coins buy skills and refills, and are earned by playing — or bought in the shop if you would rather not wait. Everything purchasable can also be earned by playing.
