Detox Tap vs Rot Dot

DetoxTap is a screen time app with a twist: you need a physical NFC card to unlock your blocked apps. No more mindless scrolling. No more "just one more minute." When you want to open Instagram, TikTok, or any app you've blocked, you have to physically tap your DetoxTap card. That small moment of friction is enough to break the autopilot habit. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose which apps to block — social media, games, whatever distracts you 2. Order your DetoxTap NFC card (ships free worldwide) 3. When you want to use a blocked app, tap your card 4. Get 1-5 minutes of access, then apps re-lock automatically WHY IT WORKS Other screen time apps rely on willpower. You see a reminder, tap "ignore," and keep scrolling. DetoxTap is different. Your card isn't in your hand — it's in your wallet, your drawer, another room. That physical barrier creates real friction. The moment you have to get up and find your card, you ask yourself: "Do I actually want to use this app right now?" Most of the time, the answer is no. FEATURES - Real app blocking using Apple Screen Time — not just reminders you can dismiss - Customizable unlock duration (1-5 minutes) - Block any app: Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, games, and more - Unique NFC card linked only to your account - No tracking, no usage data collected — your privacy matters - One-time purchase, no subscription WHAT'S INCLUDED - Free DetoxTap iOS app - Physical NFC card (credit card size, ships worldwide) - Lifetime access with no recurring fees FOR STUDENTS, PROFESSIONALS & PARENTS Whether you're trying to focus during work, study without distractions, or help your family build healthier phone habits, DetoxTap gives you the tool to take back control.
