Formulas & Forces Lab vs PatternLab Jr

Formulas & Forces Lab is an offline study portfolio for 6th grade Math and Physics. Instead of focusing on scores, students produce study artifacts: Explain-It cards, Worked-Solution rewrites, Mistake Pattern cards, session summaries, and revision plans. Practice and review prompts are used to generate reflections and structured write-ups that stay on-device. A built-in portfolio exporter creates a shareable PDF notebook from recent artifacts and active revision plans. No accounts, no analytics, and no network access—everything is bundled locally and stored privately on the device.

PatternLab Junior helps Grades 1–6 see patterns and explain the rule in words. Each session shows one pattern, asks the student to write the rule first, then ends by saving a Pattern Card or Mistake Card. The Library becomes a growing gallery of how patterns were explained.
