Box Office Abyss is fantasy sports for the movies. Form a league with friends, predict the weekly box office, and compete based on real U.S. domestic earnings. Think fantasy football, but instead of players, you're picking movies. PLAY YOUR WAY Three ways to compete. Draft leagues for the long game. Pick'em pools for casual weekend competition with friends. And the Box Office Oracle, a free weekly prediction game where you rank the top 12 movies and predict their grosses, then see how you stack up against every other player on the leaderboard. BOX OFFICE ORACLE Every week, rank 12 movies and predict their weekend grosses before Thursday at 6 PM ET. Scores drop Tuesday morning with a celebration showing your rank, streak, and how you compare. Climb the weekly, monthly, and all-time leaderboards. No league required, just you against the field. DRAFT LEAGUES Set up a private league with friends or join a public league. Choose your release window, configure your draft settings, and invite 3-12 players. Participate in live or async snake drafts, trade movies with other managers, and pick up free agents on the waiver wire. PICK'EM POOLS Create a pool, set your season length, and invite your crew. Each week, rank the weekend's movies and see who knows the box office best. Simple to set up, easy to play. COMPETE ALL SEASON Track your portfolio as movies hit theaters. Watch the standings shift with every opening weekend. Check your profile for your power rating, achievements, performance charts, and career stats across all game modes. FEATURES - Box Office Oracle with weekly scoring and leaderboards - Live and async snake drafts with auto-draft backup - Weekly Pick'em Pools for casual competition - Real-time box office data updated daily - In-league trading with commissioner review - Waiver wire for free agent pickups - League and pool chat with push notifications - Player profiles with achievements, tier progression, and performance tracking - Multi-season franchises for year-round competition - Commissioner tools for full league control Whether you're a casual movie-goer or a box office obsessive, Box Office Abyss gives you a new reason to care about opening weekends.
