The problem isn't planning. It's everything competing for your attention at once. Focus is not just another task app—it's a boundary between what matters now and everything else. WHY FOCUS WORKS One Thing at a Time Pick your focus task. Everything else fades away. Stop suffering from decision fatigue and constant context-switching. Protect Your Attention Built-in Pomodoro-style focus sessions (25, 50 min) with structured breaks. Start the timer, silence the noise, and get into flow. Stay Organized, Stay Calm Work. Personal. Ideas. Keep everything organized in smart lists, but only see what actually matters right now. SEAMLESS APPLE INTEGRATION • Live Activities & Dynamic Island: Your current focus stays visible without ever unlocking your phone. Less distraction, more flow. • Interactive Widgets: Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets show only today's priority—not your entire backlog. • Siri & App Intents: Log tasks naturally with your voice ("Log a distraction in Focus" or "Add a task to Focus"). PREMIUM FEATURES • Smart task lists with custom colors and icons • Focus Timer with detailed progress tracking • Due dates, intelligent reminders, and recurring tasks • Weekly insights, analytics, and completion streaks • 2-Way Apple Calendar Sync • Seamless iCloud sync across iPhone and iPad • Privacy-first: Your data stays securely on your device WHO IS FOCUS FOR? • People with ADHD who feel overwhelmed by traditional, cluttered task apps. • Deep workers who demand distraction-free focus time. • Minimalists who want less noise, not more features. • Creatives who think better with constraints. Focus is thoughtfully designed by an indie developer with an uncompromising attention to detail. One thing at a time. That's it. If you're anything like me, you're an elder millennial who misses a simpler time. Mountain Dew, late nights, and the freedom to ignore anything that resembled responsibility. These days you might need a little push to get things done (I sure do). So I built one. Complete & Conquer is a native iOS and macOS to-do app with a retro, gamified twist, built on the nostalgia of the real-time strategy games we grew up on. Every task you finish earns credits. Spend them to put up buildings and deploy units, climb the tech tree to unlock new hardware, and watch a little pixel-art base grow straight out of your real-life productivity. There's a catch. There's always a catch. Ignore your tasks for too long and the enemy takes notice. Let things pile up and your base comes under attack, and the only way to push them back is to start finishing things again. Turns out crossing a boring errand off the list feels a lot better when it also means commanding an army. A few things worth knowing: • It's free, and the core always will be. Using Complete & Conquer as a to-do list and habit tracker will never cost a thing. No paywall on getting your life together. • It's a real task manager underneath, with scheduling, reminders, and priorities. It just happens to be fun to open. • The loop is simple and weirdly motivating: finish tasks, earn credits, build cool stuff, defend your base. • Native on both iPhone and Mac. A word about money, because I owe you one. When I launched this app I said the to-do core would stay free, and I meant it. Recurring objectives, unlimited tasks, the full base game through Tier 2, plus a small Home Screen widget and Lock Screen widgets — none of it costs anything, and none of it ever will. No paywall on getting your life together. But I'm one guy, not a venture-backed productivity empire, and the lights don't keep themselves on. So: Commander Pro, entirely optional, for commanders who want the deluxe treatment. What Pro adds: • iCloud sync — your base, tasks, and progress on both iPhone and Mac • Tier 3 endgame — advanced tech, the Orca, an elite-tier base • GSD Intel — a field-intelligence briefing with completion analytics, streaks, and a raid log • An interactive checklist widget and the rich medium widget — check off objectives without opening the app • Dynamic Island quick-deploy — see today's progress, page through objectives, and secure them right from the island • Raid tuning — Relaxed to Intense, plus quiet hours • The Mac menu bar companion (existing users keep it free — you were here first) It's $4.99 a month, $29.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $49.99 once for lifetime, at an early-supporter price that goes up later. One purchase covers both iPhone and Mac, because charging you twice for the same app felt like a raid on YOUR base. And if you never spend a dime? Genuinely fine. Complete your tasks, defend your base, tell a friend. That was always the deal. Full disclosure: I'm building this app instead of doing my own to-do list, so there's a steady stream of new features on the way. Whether that reflects well on the app or poorly on me remains to be seen. EULA for subscriptions: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
