Assertr vs Prehearse

You know what you want to say. You've rehearsed it in your head a hundred times. But when you're in the room - your mind goes blank. Assertr is an AI voice coach that lets you practice difficult conversations out loud before they happen. Not typing. Speaking. The way real conversations actually work. WHAT YOU CAN PRACTICE: - Salary negotiation - 57% of workers never ask. 2/3 who do, get the raise - Tough feedback - be honest without burning bridges - Job interviews - answer hard questions under pressure - Speaking up in meetings - stop being the quiet one - Difficult boss conversations - navigate what you've been avoiding - Setting boundaries - say no without guilt - Team conflict - resolve disputes with clarity - Offer negotiation - maximize your compensation WHY VOICE, NOT TEXT: You already know ChatGPT can role-play in text. But real conversations aren't text. They're voice, pressure, emotions, and someone going off your carefully prepared script. Assertr puts you in the conversation. Out loud. So when the stakes are real - you've already been there. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Pick a scenario or describe your own 2. Have the conversation out loud with AI 3. Get scored on 5 dimensions: clarity, confidence, empathy, assertiveness, strategy 4. See exactly where you went off track 5. Practice again until you're ready THE MATH: One successful salary conversation = $5,000-$15,000/year. One Assertr session = 10 minutes. You already spend hours overthinking it. Spend 10 minutes practicing instead. BUILT FOR THE NIGHT BEFORE: Got a performance review tomorrow? A tough conversation you keep postponing? Assertr is available at 11pm - when the anxiety peaks and a human coach isn't. Track your growth across sessions. Build real communication skills. Turn deep conversations into career breakthroughs. Stop overthinking. Start practicing. Terms of Use (EULA): https://assertr.app/legal/terms/ Privacy Policy: https://assertr.app/legal/app-privacy/

Rehearse your next job interview, salary negotiation or hard talk before it happens. Prehearse gives you a role-play partner who pushes back the way the real person might, then a debrief on what you actually said: what landed, where you hedged, and the wording to try next time. You can start your first rehearsal without an account. WHAT IT DOES Describe who you're talking to and what's at stake, choose how tough they should be, then rehearse by voice or text. After each rehearsal you get a debrief with a readiness score, what landed, where you hedged, and phrases to try next time. SCENARIOS • Salary negotiation and asking for a raise • Setting a boundary with a boss, partner, family member or roommate • Job interviews and mock interview questions • Giving or receiving difficult feedback • Presentations and speaking up in meetings • Breakups, apologies, or any custom situation you describe HOW IT WORKS 1. Set the scene: who, what, and how difficult. 2. Rehearse: speak out loud or type, and your partner answers in character. 3. Get your debrief: readiness score, strengths, and concrete wording to try. 4. Go again, or turn up the difficulty, until you feel ready. 5. Walk in prepared: your prep card holds your opening line, key phrases and pitfalls to avoid. Add the date of the real conversation and get a reminder to warm up. PRIVACY • Your rehearsal history and debriefs are stored on your iPhone. • To create your partner's replies and your coaching, the text of your rehearsal is sent to an AI service for processing. You're asked to agree before your first rehearsal. • Lock the app with Face ID. • Start your first rehearsal without an account, and sign in with Apple or an email code when you want to continue. A PRACTICE TOOL, NOT THERAPY Prehearse is for preparation and confidence. It isn't therapy, counselling or professional advice. If a rehearsal shows signs of crisis, the app pauses and points you to real support resources. PREHEARSE PRO Unlimited rehearsals and longer talks, with monthly and yearly plans. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
