Crucible Fit
Read full descriptionHide full description
A real test, every day, wherever you train. Crucible Fit gives you one authored functional fitness workout a day, sized to how you slept and the equipment you own. Work the stations, hold on through the Crux between them, and finish with your time, your splits and a mark that never expires. Once a week, run the ranked Crucible for your division. Then send your time to someone who thinks they can beat it. Your first Crucible is on us: the whole session, nothing trimmed. MOST TRAINING NEVER GETS TESTED Random workouts leave no standard and no record, so you never really know whether you are getting better. The events that do test you come a few times a year, with a ticket and a travel day. Crucible brings the test to you: at home, in a hotel room or at the gym. WHAT A CRUCIBLE IS - Stations: a rep target at each. Break as often as you need; the target is the total. - The Crux: between every station, instead of rest, a short timed hold, carry or crawl on a clock you did not start. It is what makes a Crucible harder than a circuit. - The finish: your time, where it went, and a mark that says you finished to standard. 150 Crucibles, each in bodyweight, dumbbell and kettlebell versions. 15 to 90 minutes. Graded I to V: start where you can finish, earn the harder ones. HARD ON THE RIGHT DAYS Connect Apple Health and Crucible reads your sleep, HRV, resting heart rate and training load, then picks today's Crucible to match. Hard days are spaced out on purpose. Your rep target rises when you finish comfortably and steps back the same day a session falls apart. If today turns against you, tap Too much? to cut what is left. It still counts. An optional morning brief names today's Crucible and why. NOTHING TO THINK ABOUT BUT THE WORK - A voice that calls the work and nothing else. - Your music stays at full volume, dipping only while a cue is spoken. - Bank reps in chunks. Breaks are expected and counted. - Pace against your best: you hear when you are ahead, never when you are behind. - Apple Watch mirrors every station and the Crux countdown. Bank reps with the Digital Crown. FINISH IT. KEEP THE MARK. Your receipt shows station time against Crux time, every Crux effort, your breaks and your next target. A mark does not drop when you sleep badly, and it never expires. Firsts, like every station unbroken or a Grade cleared, are named once, when they happen. ONE RANKED CRUCIBLE A WEEK Each week has a Crucible for your equipment division, so you are measured against people with the same kit. Run it as written any day that week and your time enters the field. Your fastest time stands. A ranked time needs heart rate from any device that records to Apple Health, or an observer's code. Alone with no sensor? The mark still counts in your own record. Ranked weeks in a row build a streak. SEND IT TO SOMEONE WHO THINKS THEY CAN BEAT IT Share your finish as one clean image with a link that opens the same Crucible. You see exactly what goes out, and nothing else leaves your phone. PROGRAMS When you want the road mapped: Ground Up, Iron Ladder, Full Distance and The Long Campaign. Six to twelve weeks, every day a Crucible, step-down weeks built in. TRAIN YOUR WAY ON THE OTHER DAYS More than 5,000 movements with video, a planner, saved workouts, and circuits, EMOM, AMRAP, supersets and pyramids. History, personal records and a strength index show the work adding up. A YEAR FROM NOW, YOU WILL KNOW Marks that do not expire. A streak of ranked weeks. A number that is yours, and a friend still chasing it. SUBSCRIPTION After your first Crucible, one subscription covers everything, billed monthly or annually. Payment is charged to your Apple ID and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage it in your App Store account settings.
