You know the feeling. You can follow along with the printed readings. You know the prayers and the cues. But somewhere along the way, hearing every word clearly became harder. You nod politely, react when others react, and hope you didn't miss anything important. Capsion changes that. Capsion displays real-time captions from live audio at participating venues. Designed for accessibility, Capsion helps deaf and hard-of-hearing attendees follow along with sermons, speeches, performances, and announcements. How It Works Your venue runs a Capsion audio system that captures and transcribes speech in real-time. Simply open the Capsion app on your iPhone to see live captions as they're spoken. 'This iPhone' Private Mode enables on-device transcriptions from your iPhone microphone. Your audio stays on your device - no cloud, no recording no data shared. The optional Split Screen, unique to Private Mode, allows the user to point their iPhone microphone to the source of the sound, while being able to read what is spoken in portrait and upside-down positions. No awkward reading upside down any more. And when the iPhone is in landscape, users get the upside and right side text views side by side. Features • Real-time speech-to-text captions • Adjustable font size for easy reading • Caption history with automatic paragraph breaks • Music detection (pauses captions during hymns and songs) • Demo-mode via long press on the Listening... button. • Share Capsion with your friends using our built-in QR code For Venues Capsion provides an affordable, modern captioning solution without expensive hardware or subscription services. Contact us to learn how to bring Capsion to your church, theater, or event space. Note: Capsion requires a participating venue with an active Capsion audio system. Captions are AI-generated and may contain errors.
