Vanishing Lore
Read full descriptionHide full description
Vanishing Lore is a document detective adventure about records that are too orderly to trust. Read original archive pages, not just summaries. Notice omissions, repeated phrases, custody gaps, and details that appear in the wrong order. Keep evidence cards, separate fact from reading and judgment, then file Claims when the pages support a conclusion. The opening case is free. It teaches the complete document → evidence → Claim loop. A single non-consumable purchase unlocks the remaining chapters; story progression still opens them in narrative order. No subscription, ads, or account. QUIET HORROR, ACTIVE READING No jump scares. The unease lives in papers that arrive too neatly, explanations that sound too safe, and archives that seem eager to be believed. WHAT YOU DO • Read multi-page dossier documents • Preserve suspicious details as evidence cards • Sort what the page proves from interpretation • Compare testimony, editorial pressure, and chains of custody • File Claims and retain the point each Claim closed • Follow three investigative lenses into a converging endgame • Revisit documents, annotations, failed readings, and case notes In-app text is available in 16 languages. Progress can be transferred with SavePack. Restoring Purchases restores access separately. After a valid purchase has been verified, established access remains available offline.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Vanishing Lore at none against Escape Game's shown. Escape Game's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
