Step into Chronicle Engines, a modern text RPG where every decision shapes an adaptive mystery. Choose Sci-Fi, Fantasy, or Thriller, then watch a story come alive with cinematic pacing, vivid detail, and meaningful choices. Prefer to improvise? Type your own action and the narrative adapts in real time. Chronicle Engines blends classic interactive fiction with contemporary storytelling: a monochrome story-terminal interface, command-led choices with visible consequences, one-bit genre art, optional narration, saved cases, private archives, branching decisions, and readable story history built for short sessions or deep dives. Chronicle Cloud offers OpenAI Luna stories and optional AI-generated OpenAI narration through an Apple subscription. Review the story and narration disclosure before choosing to send text to OpenAI. Daily story and read-aloud allowances apply. Supported devices can also generate stories locally. Choose Apple Cloud on iOS 27 for story generation through Apple Private Cloud Compute on eligible devices, with deep reasoning and expanded story context. Internet and available Apple usage quota are required. Apple Cloud story generation does not require a Chronicle Cloud subscription. Voyage is a quiet deep-space companion. A small vessel travels even while the app is closed. When it arrives, one notification calls you back to uncover a real astronomical object. Choose a short, long, or deep voyage. There is nothing to keep running and no deadline to meet: the ship waits for you at the other end. Every arrival adds to a growing record of the universe, to read, revisit, and trace across your star chart. A voyage can also retrace a real mission. Historic Adventures follow a recorded path leg by leg: Voyager 1 from Jupiter to interstellar space, Huygens falling to Titan. Every leg arrives at something that happened, with the sources it came from. Both are free to follow. There are no streaks, leaderboards, or daily tasks. Nothing asks you to come back. Features: - Voyages that continue while the app is closed - Historic Adventures that retrace real missions, leg by leg - Real astronomical objects with hand-written stories, encounters, and questions - An evolving journal and star chart - A learnable alien voyage clock - An ambient travel scene and music - An Apple Watch companion showing the voyage in flight - Genesis trees shaped by recovered matter - Optional Signal Beacons from other voyagers - No account required, and core exploration works offline - Free to start, with an optional one-time unlock
