OPVG Family vs P2pi

OPVG Family is a private community platform designed for verified members. The app offers admin-approved profiles, city-based group discussions, job and community listings, and in-app notifications to help members stay connected. Community safety tools allow members to request assistance within the OPVG network. Access is limited to approved members only, ensuring privacy, trust, and a controlled environment.

p2pi connects you to the people around you — with no internet, no SIM and no servers. Your phone talks straight to nearby phones over Bluetooth Low Energy. Messages, photos, voice notes and voice calls travel directly from one device to another. Nothing passes through a company's servers, because there are no servers at all. WORKS WHEN NOTHING ELSE DOES • No mobile data, no Wi-Fi, no signal, no balance — p2pi still works • A classroom with no Wi-Fi, a village with no tower, a crowd where the network has given up • Turn on Bluetooth, open the app, and everyone nearby appears automatically WHAT YOU CAN DO • Message everyone nearby at once, or chat with one person privately • Make voice calls over Bluetooth • Send photos and voice notes • See who is around you and roughly how far away they are • Multi-hop relay carries your message past your own Bluetooth range, through the phones in between PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Conversations go device to device and never touch the cloud • No account, no password, no phone number, no sign-up • Nothing is uploaded, tracked or harvested HOW TO USE IT Install p2pi on two or more phones, open the app, pick a name, and allow Bluetooth. Devices in range find each other on their own and messages start flowing — completely offline. p2pi is made by the Rehan School team, built on a simple belief: knowledge and connection should be free, and no one should be cut off from the person standing right next to them.
