CrewRest+ vs Crewzie

CrewRest+ is an application designed for flight crew members, both cockpit and cabin crew, operating long-haul flights. It is a rest scheduling calculator (and duty-service scheduling for cabin crew) that provides a simple and efficient flight timeline, displaying the duration, start time, and end time of each rest and/or duty-service period based on the entered data. Several scenarios can be selected, such as splitting the total duration into 3 equal rest periods, or 4, or even 6. Some airline-specific scenarios have been requested by pilots and are also available in the scenario catalog: Cathay, Virgin, Swiss, and Air New Zealand options. Breaks between rest periods are defined by the user. For cabin crew, breaks before rest periods and before duty periods can be set differently. Once the timeline is displayed, durations can be adjusted according to the actual flight context (except for the airline-specific scenarios mentioned above). The timeline can also be shared as a PNG image with other crew members. The application is available on both iPhone and iPad. --- Note : The app includes a free trial allowing up to 5 timeline calculations, with full access to all features. After these 5 calculations have been used, continued access to the app and its features requires an auto-renewable annual subscription priced at $6.99 per year. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings under “Subscriptions“. This application uses Apple's standard Terms of Use (EULA) : https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

CrewZZZy helps flight attendants and pilots plan crew rest with clear timelines, crew assignments and live countdowns. Choose your calculator once. CrewZZZy remembers your selection and opens it on future launches. Use Change mode anytime to switch between Flight Attendants and Pilots. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS Choose departure and arrival airports, select a service/rest pattern, enter the timing window and service lengths, and generate a crew rest timeline. Follow active and upcoming periods, switch between departure and arrival station time, and assign crew to rest blocks. PILOTS Choose departure time, arrival time or UTC / Zulu, select the rest-start date, and use the hours-and-minutes wheel to enter the window. Divide it into 2–4 sequential rest periods. Your phone’s time-zone settings do not need to change. Use the same handover duration between periods or set individual handovers. Overnight windows are supported. Assign a pilot or relief pair to each rest block and follow the rest timeline. CREW AND TIMING • Import crew names from up to three manifest images or enter names manually. • Assign crew to rest periods and reverse rest groups when swapping airports for a return leg. • Follow live countdowns and view your plan from departure or arrival station time. • Use Live Activities for supported Lock Screen and Dynamic Island displays. • Share a flight plan summary and image. • Closing a flight clears its times, crew list and break assignments; a confirmation explains what will be cleared. The app divides the timing window you provide. It does not validate duty limits, pilot qualifications or airline operating rules. Select rest windows and crew coverage according to your operating procedures. FREE CALCULATIONS AND PRO Try 15 free calculations per device, shared across both calculators. Existing usage carries over. The free allowance does not renew. After the base allowance and any earned referral calculations are used, Pro access is required to create more calculations. Reopening the current authorized plan, editing crew assignments or changing the display time zone does not use another calculation. REFERRAL PROMOTION Receive 5 extra calculations for each eligible new user who installs CrewZZZy and enters your invitation code within their first 7 days. Available through October 4, 2027. Both users must be signed into iCloud. A new user means a first CrewZZZy registration with that iCloud account; one referral per new user. No Pro purchase needed. Sharing alone does not award a bonus. Earned calculations remain on the device and do not expire. Annual Pro provides unlimited calculations while subscribed. The annual price is displayed in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Restore Purchases is available in the upgrade screen.
