Built for Falconers Who Take Their Craft Seriously FalconryLab was built in the field, for the field: the early mornings, the muddy boots, the obsessive weight tracking, the bond between falconer and bird that no spreadsheet holds. Whether you are an apprentice flying your first red-tail or a sponsor with a mews full of longwings, this is your falconry journal. WEIGHT TRACKING THAT LEARNS YOUR BIRD Log the morning weight and the evening feed; FalconryLab does the rest. It works out your bird's own burn rate from its own history, not a textbook figure, predicts where the weight is heading, and shows the trend at a glance. You know where your bird stands before you open the mews door. FEEDING CALCULATORS Tell it tonight's target and it works out how much to feed. Weigh the food before and after and it works out how much was actually eaten. No mental arithmetic in the dark. GPS HUNT JOURNAL Live GPS path recording, waypoints for flushes, slips and kills, and automatic weather capture. When the hunt is over, replay it on a map with distance, duration, quarry and outcome. Over a season it becomes a record of every field you walked. THE FALCONRY MAP A shared map of raptor sightings, kept by falconers. Drop a pin on the exact spot you saw a bird, and see your own hunt trails on the same map. Every sighting starts private and nothing is shared until you decide it should be. It matters most for a bird that is not wild: jesses, anklets or telemetry mean it is almost certainly somebody's, and a public pin is how its falconer finds it. You can message whoever posted a sighting in a thread scoped to that pin. TRAINING LOGS Eight session types that follow the real progression, from manning and feeding on the fist through creance and free flight to hunting. Weather and location are captured for you, so you can look back and see what actually worked for this bird. MOLT AND RECONDITIONING Follow the molt feather group by feather group, with photos, from the first drop to hard-penned. When the season comes round again, build a reconditioning plan from molt weight down to hunting weight and follow it day by day. SEASONS Close a season, open the next, and set them side by side to see how far the bird came. SPONSOR AND APPRENTICE MATCHING The apprenticeship is the heart of falconry. Find sponsors by location and specialization, share progress, and talk directly. Sponsors can review credentials, follow development and guide their apprentices in one place. TEAMS AND COMPLIANCE Coordinate across several falconers with shared birds and shared records, and keep licenses, permits and documents where you can find them before an inspection, not after. OFFLINE FIRST No signal, no problem. Everything saves on the device first and syncs when you are back in range. Siri Shortcuts log a weight or drop a sighting hands-free, with a bird on the glove.
