Founded in March 1995, Le / The Régional is a bilingual weekly newspaper, distributed door-todoor in the Prescott & Russell region of Ontario and in the municipalities of Argenteuil, Quebec. As a much needed 2nd voice for readers and advertisers, we have managed to win over readers with our newspaper’s themes and ideas. In a very short time, we rose from 5th to 1st in rank of weeklies covering a territory of more than 100 km from north to south. We are the only independent weekly to be distributed door-to-door by Transcontinental’s Publi Sac distribution network, while taking advantage of its national advertising network (Réseau Sélect). These concerted efforts have allowed us to « keep up with the times » while remaining attentive to our product and our customers. Significant changes were made in 2013 to improve the quality of our printed product. The Regional is now completely produced using a 4-colour process on an extra white and extra thick high quality paper. This change gives the Regional another advantage over the weeklies in the region
