Moose vs Second Brain

Moose is your personal knowledge weaver — an AI-powered note manager that doesn't just store your notes, it connects them. Write down your ideas, research notes, meeting thoughts, and scattered inspiration. Moose keeps everything organized with projects, tags, and favourites — then its AI weaving engine discovers connections between your notes that you never saw coming. A brainstorm from last week links to today's research. A project brief connects to notes you forgot you wrote. Moose weaves your thinking together. Everything stays private. Your notes live on your device, and with Moose Pro, they sync seamlessly across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac via iCloud. WHAT MOOSE DOES • Create and organize notes with a clean, distraction-free editor • Organize your work into Projects with custom icons and colors • Tag notes for flexible cross-project organization • Pin important notes to the top and favourite the ones you love • Search across your entire knowledge base instantly • Sync notes across all your Apple devices with iCloud (Pro) • Beautiful themes to match your style — Light, Dark, and three Pro exclusives WORKS WITH YOUR MAC Moose is built for both platforms. Notes you create on your iPhone appear on your Mac and vice versa. Edits, deletions, favourites, and pins all sync in real time. Start a thought on your phone during your commute, flesh it out on your Mac at your desk. The macOS version adds powerful features: folder monitoring that automatically ingests documents, an AI weaving engine that discovers connections between your notes, and a full knowledge graph visualization. Together, Moose on iPhone and Mac gives you a complete personal knowledge system. AI KNOWLEDGE WEAVING On your Mac, Moose's AI weaving engine analyses your notes using on-device processing to find hidden connections — shared themes, overlapping keywords, even contradictions. The iPhone app surfaces these insights so you always have your connected knowledge at hand. PRIVACY FIRST Your notes never leave your device.
