RideNote
Read full descriptionHide full description
Track your mountain bike setup in less than a minute. RideNote helps you remember what worked, what changed, and how each ride felt without spreadsheets, accounts, or cloud sync. Set your bike baseline once, then log only the changes you made before a ride. Tire pressure, suspension pressure, sag, rebound, compression, lockout, volume tokens, trail conditions, notes, and feedback all stay organized by bike and setup. BUILT FOR REAL RIDES RideNote is made for riders who want useful setup memory without turning every ride into a suspension lab. Use it to answer questions like: • Was the rear tire better at 25 or 27 PSI? • Did more rebound help on rocky trails? • Which setup felt best in wet conditions? • What did I change before that ride? • What still needs fixing before next weekend? BIKE BASELINES Save the settings you normally start from: • Front and rear tire pressure • Fork and shock pressure • Sag percentages • Rebound clicks • High-speed and low-speed rebound • Compression, HSC, and LSC • Lockout position • Volume tokens • Wheel size and tire width • Bike photo and bike type RideNote supports full suspension bikes, hardtails, and rigid bikes, so the setup fields match the bike you actually ride. SETUP LOGGING Create a setup before or after a ride. RideNote starts from your bike baseline, so you only need to capture what changed. Each setup can include: • Trail name • Date • Tire pressure changes • Suspension pressure changes • Sag changes • Fork and shock adjustment changes • Weather conditions • Trail type • Freeform notes • Grip, Feel, and Control feedback FEEDBACK THAT IS EASY TO USE Instead of forcing one generic rating, RideNote lets you rate a setup across three dimensions: • Grip: loose to grippy • Feel: firm to plush • Control: sketchy to dialed That makes it easier to spot patterns later. A setup might feel plush but vague, grippy but slow, or firm but controlled. RideNote helps you remember the difference. INSIGHTS As you log and rate setups, RideNote can show: • Total setups • Recent setup activity • Average Grip, Feel, and Control • Best setup • Grip by weather condition • Control by trail type • Tire pressure ranges you have explored The more you ride and rate, the more useful your setup history becomes. PRESSURE CALCULATOR Use the built-in pressure calculator to get starting points based on: • Rider weight • Bike type • Riding discipline • Tire width Disciplines include XC, Trail, Enduro, and DH. Suggestions can be applied to your bike baseline and tuned from there. PREP TOOLS RideNote also includes lightweight prep tools: • Pre-ride checklist • Custom checklist items • Notes linked to a bike • Checklist notes for repairs, packing, or parts • Searchable setup and note history OFFLINE AND PRIVATE RideNote works fully offline. There is no account, no social feed, and no cloud sync. Your data is stored locally on your device. You can also export your data: • Full JSON backup • CSV ride/setup export • JSON backup import when moving or restoring data WHO IT IS FOR RideNote is for mountain bikers who want to remember their setup without overcomplicating the ride. It is useful if you: • Ride the same trails in different conditions • Own more than one bike • Experiment with tire pressure • Adjust suspension settings • Want to remember what actually worked • Prefer simple tools that work offline WHAT IT IS NOT RideNote is not a social network, not a coaching platform, and not a replacement for a professional suspension tuner. It is a clean, private setup log for riders who want better memory between rides. Built by a mountain biker, for mountain bikers.
