A meditation timer that gets out of your way. No subscriptions. No guided sessions. Just press start and sit. I built Oku because every meditation app I tried wanted me to subscribe, watch a tutorial, or pick from a library of guided sessions. I just wanted to sit down, meditate and track my sessions. So that's what this app does. Set your time anywhere from 1 to 90 minutes with a simple drag gesture. Pick a completion sound you like: singing bowl, soft bell, or warm chime. Press begin. That's the whole app. No subscriptions. No account. No ads.

Maybe you’ve tried meditation before. You downloaded an app, chose a calming session, practiced for a few days — and then stopped. The problem wasn’t finding another meditation. It was knowing what to practice, why it mattered, and how to keep going. Meditation is a skill. Anicca helps you learn it. Start with a short onboarding quiz. Anicca considers your experience, consistency, attention, distractions, and goals, then suggests the right place to begin on a structured 10-stage path. From there, you always know what to practice next. Each day, Anicca recommends a session with a clear focus, technique, and duration. No endless browsing. No collection of unrelated sessions. Just the next useful step for your practice. LEARN BEFORE YOU SIT Personal Dive-Ins introduce one stage-appropriate idea before your silent meditation. These short, thoughtfully authored lessons help you understand what you’re training and how to work with common difficulties. MEDITATE WITHOUT DISTRACTION Move from guidance into a quiet, minimal timer designed for serious practice. Follow each phase, pause or resume when needed, dim the screen, and finish with an optional gong. SEE HOW YOUR PRACTICE DEVELOPS Follow your Journey from establishing consistency to deeper practice. Explore your current stage, recommended methods, common obstacles, and the signs that may indicate you’re ready for the next step. LEARN FROM EVERY SESSION After you sit, reflect on what happened using simple tags, questions, and optional journal notes. Over time, your history helps you notice patterns in attention, distractions, techniques, and consistency. BUILD A PRACTICE THAT LASTS Streaks, weekly activity, achievements, and longer practice challenges make your effort visible — without turning meditation into a game. Anicca is for you if: • You want to meditate but struggle to stay consistent • You’ve tried meditation apps but felt lost among endless sessions • You’re returning to practice and need a clear structure • You already meditate and want a more intentional path forward Anicca is not built around sleep stories, background sounds, or quick-fix promises. It is a quiet companion for learning how to sit, notice, return, and gradually deepen your practice. ANICCA PREMIUM Premium unlocks Personal Dive-Ins, deeper practice analytics, lesson replay, advanced practice tools, and additional guidance along your path. Anicca is a meditation and general wellness app. It does not diagnose or treat medical conditions and is not a substitute for professional support.
